  1. He's german, and I am American. I know I don't need visas to travel, only a passport. But unsure if he needs a visa to those islands or not since he has a passport and ESTA already
  2. We are traveling in December on the Explorer to Dominican Republic, St. Johns, St. Thomas, St. Marteen and Coco Cay. We board from Miami, FL. My friend is joining us from Germany. I have gone online with RC and checked what documents that he needs. He has a passport and applied for ESTA. But on RC website it says that he may need visas for the islands we are visiting and an Electronic Travel Authorization. Does any one know if the ESTA is the Electronic travel authorization even though they list it separately and if any visas are needed? Has anyone had any experience with it? I know i may need to RC, for additional help. I just don't want to be denied boarding. Greatly appreciate the help!
  3. Go to the Scuba Diving desk, it's normally on the pool deck and ask them if any more spots will open up. My husband and I got lucky one year (pre-covid) diving in Roatan. All the excursions were booked, but they were able to get enough people who showed interest, that they opened more spots. Best of Luck!
  4. Thanks. I will check them out. 1st time alaska/visiting Seattle. 26 times out of Florida:) so im used the the Florida protocols, and where to stay and not stay. But when it comes to other ports, I like to reach out to people and get ideas
  5. Thank you for the tips. Our budget is around 150 to 250 a night for a hotel. We may not do much in Seattle because of the older adults in our group. The Hubbard Glacier is on my bucket list, but for this trip since it was a FCC because our 12 day caribbean was canceled we tried to not go over that. Hopefully the longer cruises will return sooner than later
  6. We are booked in August 2022 on the Ovation of the Seas! We are all super excited to go! First time going to Alaska, and looking for some ideas for places to stay in Seattle and things to do. We will have 1 full day in Seattle and we are taking my In-Laws who are older with mobility issues. So it would either need to be within walking distance or a shuttle. If anyone has any ideas it would be great! I feel like I'm going crazy planning all of it!
