  1. Currently just the gentle hum of the earth movers. They were already going at 6:30 as we approached the pier.
  2. Can they fit? Yes. Will they fit? Possibly. Will it be comfortable? NO! My two boys who are 12& 13 do not fit. The pull out couch is roughly the size of a full size bed with less support. YMMV.
  3. Absolutely true! We had a B2B on Voyager Nov 22' with a bad dining room experience many days the first week (resolved by the Maitre'd and he then checked in with us each evening). On day 3 of the second week he pulled me aside after dinner and asked me to please complete the survey from the previous week as he had not received mine, and before the end of the evening if at all possible. He said he was personally responsible for reviewing the dining surveys each week and used the scores to evaluate servers and kitchen performance. Each week the stations are assigned based on scores. The scores are also used to identify the servers that need "re training", demotion or silverware rolling.
  4. Just sailed on Voyager in November. Our J3 had a "full ish" size couch. Definitely not a Queen in size and larger than a twin.
  5. 1st year cruising. 28 days. I can only dream of 71 & 110....
  6. In the last two weeks someone posted a link to check CP pricing in advance without logging in. Would you please repost? The link is lost for me in all the typical questions.
  7. It's a small couch. Pulled out into a bed it's roughly the size of an American full size bed. I have boys 11 & 12 and they would have had a hard time sharing. We ended up booking connecting as it allowed privacy for mom and dad as well as a second bathroom.
  8. I would advise based on our b2b experience and another recently posted by @Censored, do yourself a favor and buy the UDP. General food service is difficult at best compared to most other cruises.
  9. My wife and I were on the repo cruise from Boston 10/30 and stayed on B2B 11/6 for the first week out of PR. It was exactly as you described. Having sailed 4 weeks this year and never seen anything like it the other times. Every night was a gamble. Our assigned table in the MDR was given away several times. The lines for the Windjammer were out the door to the point of not even worth trying. The staff new it was an issue and tried to help us out but it was like watching a Tsunami overtake the dining staff every meal. Our cruise also had an extra "feeding station" set up on the pool deck every lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. For some reason there was a crazy run on Michelob Ultra as well. The ice cream machines couldn't freeze the mix fast enough. Here's a photo of one night at ~8:30 we had cleared our own table to get a spot. It was great as you said to island hop. I don't think I would do it again on this class out of PR.
  10. Here are the rates as of 11/6. As the previous post says it's very easy to get back.
