Licenced by government but run by private companies - Channel 7 brisbane last night specifically referenced impact to cruising. Guess we will see what happens on Friday - I think Quantum gets into Brisbane prior to the lock out on Friday but is due to depart after it starts

Seeing news reports today of a national lockout of tug boat crews by Svitzer - starting on Friday at 9am - understand this extends to cruise ships in Australian ports - anyone heard anything?

Cruising in a Golden Junior Suite on Spectrum in January 23 - the Golden Junior Suite is a "Sky Class" Suite, and wondering if it qualifies for complimentary room service and MDR Room Service? Most of the things I find say that in general it is GS and Above across the fleet, but there is something in my mind that makes me think that that Spectrum with its odd Golden/Silver system was a bit different and that suites in the Sky Category got this. Any other tips on Golden Suite Service much appreciated as well

I couldn't really find the answer to this elsewhere - I have booked as a solo traveller on Quantum out of Australia at the end of next year now. One of the things I have always enjoyed is ordering multiple appetisers with Dinner, but have always travelled with a group - so it has felt less gluttonous than it would be doing it by myself, we have just ordered an app each and shared around the table and eaten family style. That feels kind of redundant if you are by yourself! How have people handled this in the past - will they make a smaller serving, or do I need to just order one - just don't want to feel extra weird or wasteful about over ordering. Matt
