  1. On our last few cruises we had the deluxe drink package. We have cruised enough to have reached diamond+ status and we are given auto “vouchers” (on our sea pass card) for 5 drinks a piece each. We are on Harmony and we found 5 each is plenty. We also redeemed RC Visa reward points towards On Board Credit and used that for a couple bottles of wine at dinner after D+ discount
  2. Jame Van Fleet (RC's meteorologist) responded to a FaceBook question about Port Canaveral reopening. I would think this would apply to any closed ports due to weather: JVF we are delayed until Friday and the timing isn’t depending on us “making a call” but rather we have to wait until Port and Coast Guard do their Channel Survey (for debris under the water) and then we are cleared to “come in”. That take a little time, and add to it, we are uncertain of when they will start. So many moving parts, but we will update as quickly as possible as the details come together.
  3. A post on Twitter from Orlando International Airport (MCO) Operational Update – Hurricane Ian Commercial operations at MCO will cease at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, 09/28/22. Entry to all parking facilities will be closed at that same period. Please contact your airline for flight updates.
  4. I agree a Passport is as good as the REAL ID for travel. I also read a REAL ID will be required for family of active members to enter Military bases for ceremonies and the like. Will a passport also be honored?
  5. For those curious: The Port Conditions are: Condition Whiskey (IV): The ALERT condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 72 hours. Condition X-Ray (III): The READINESS condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 48 hours. Condition Yankee (II): The WARNING condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 24 hours. Condition Zulu (I): The DANGER condition in which winds above 39 mph are expected within 12 hours and until the storm has passed and is no longer a threat.
  6. Are RC Visa rewards redeemed for OBC considered a promotional OBC?
  7. giving a dollar or 2 tip when placing the initial order *may* result in less scrutiny, no guarantees
  8. They should be itemized daily and available on your TV account interface menu or the app. The final cruise statement is a summary and doesn't show the detail the daily tally does.
  9. I hesitate to give any gaming advice. I really do not have the tolerance to lose my hard earned money on gambling so I don't do it regularly. I get the bug every now and then but when I walk away from the game with less money than I started I am reminded why it is an unpleasant experience!!
  10. It would stand to reason betting $5 a spin would earn a point whereas playing a quarter a spin would take 20 spins to earn a point. The wildcard is which machine is paying off more $$.
  11. Can someone explain the what D+/Pin benefit, "Exclusive Access to Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club Call Center Staff Members" is? Thanks!!
  12. I wouldn't. I mis-read the document I saw 125K instead of 25K Ooops! I figured a person would win some of the spins which why I chose play instead of lose. So 25K points would take $125K worth of slot play?
  13. I having a hard time with this. If one plays slots and earns 1 point for every $5 played to get 125,000 points one would need to play $625,000.00? Is that really true?
  14. Thanks for the suggestion! We ordered a coffee card and a case of 24 water for $56.60 total final price. That will get us everything we would normally get except bar drinks. If we were pop drinkers the refreshment package would be the way to go.
  15. Thanks! I am a coffee novice and only been to a Starbucks or other coffee shops (other than while cruising) maybe 4 times in my life. We always bought the deluxe drink package so getting mochas or cappuccinos from Cafe Promenade were included. We now are getting enough C&A drink vouchers to forego the DBP. Looking at other offerings for coffee and the likes.
  16. How many espresso shots do they typically put in a venti mocha?
  17. Do the Coffee punch cards restrict the size ordered? That is, can I get a venti mocha or I am restricted to the smallest size (can't remember the name of the smallest size)?
  18. I will disagree that Pinnacle is easy to achieve, at least for us. We are Diamond Plus, 204 points. We need 496 more points to achieve Pinnacle. No way we will be ever able to do that. We do not have the $$ to cruise that much even with double points for suites. We would need ~36 (7) night cruises in a suite.
  19. I use the Rewards point to secure on board credits. I can use them to defer or reduce the cost of excursions or specialty dining.
  20. If you choose the Daily Planner icon (Middle Icon on the top, and choose the Dining option from that page you can reserve specialty dining from that page but I do not see multiple dining packages.
