  1. And one device cannot lock out the others. The person logging in can "kick off" the current user at will. Can your teens share? I know my couldn't.
  2. Royal Caribbean has the Schooner Bar I view as their signature bar on all their ships. Does Celebrity have a signature bar as well?
  3. it seems you want to upset many, drinkers or not. I will take your advice ignore your posts.
  4. I just did a mock booking and a Jr suite is over $6k after all discounts for October 2024. A substantial increase for the privilege of sailing with 7K other guests, not us!
  5. Out last 2 cruises were done both with early (10:30 am ) and midday (1:30 pm) check in times. Cruise 1: There were long lines but we managed to get through it all and we aboard by 11:10 or so We wanted to get the muster checkin done but they didn't start that process until noon. Our cabins were not promised to us until 2:00 pm though they were available at 1:30 pm. To me it seemed the classic "hurry up and wait" scenario. Cruise 2: 1:30 pm checkin window. It was much less chaotic. We didn't need to rush through breakfast to catch an early shuttle. We experienced no wait lines for checkin, boarding, cabin availability or muster checkin process. I didn't feel cheated out of 2 or 3 hours of vacation at all!
  6. I'd like to see a smaller Voyager Class ship with less bells and whistles. Never happen though.
  7. You can apply the rewards point to OBC now. They typically show up 2 weeks before the sailing but that can sped up. Be sure to record the redemption transaction ID, and have the reservation ID and sailing info handy. After a few days call the RC Rewards support line (888-305-4626) and verify the rewards points have been redeemed for OBC and ask to have them available immediately. I have never been told no. After an hour or so they should show as available for use via Cruise Planner to offset the cost of any CP purchase.
  8. We wore what we consider business casual, no shorts, or jeans. My wife wore a nicer top and slacks and I a polo shirt and dockers. We packed in carry-on only for the 7 night cruise so no room to pack anything else. I wore the same dockers every night so I was VERY careful not to spill on them!
  9. The Cafe Select card you buy in cruise planner is for 15 shots of espresso. There are 1,2,3 shots of espresso in the small, medium and large coffee sizes respectively (tall, grande and venti?) On Harmony the person taking the order made sure I understood that when I ordered. I have read some others were not so clear. I am not a regular customer at the coffee shops at home so I can't compare the quality. I do know from experience on board the ship the chocolate syrup in the Starbucks mochas is not as sweet as Cafe Promenade. I prefer Starbucks mochas for that reason.
  10. Exactly my reason Icon doesn't peak our interest. Our kids are grown and have families of their own. If we want to enjoy a theme park we will go to one. We will stick to the smaller RC ships until they are retired and are giving older Celebrity ships a look.
  11. It would be nice if RC offered a hybrid Deluxe Beverage Package for those of us getting Crown and Anchor drink vouchers. Offer a discount to purchase the DBP in exchange for the C&A drink vouchers.
  12. Since we qualified for the drink vouchers we do not get the DBP. The cost of the DBP has also deterred us. The highest I have ever paid for it was $53 per person, per day but those prices are long gone for the foreseeable future.
  13. Yes! You see the same tee shirt designs with only the Island name/logo being different.
  14. Our cruise director made a passing mention we could book a Celebrity cruise at the Next Cruise desk while hawking Next Cruise on the Morning Show. Can anybody confirm or refute this?
  15. On Harmony 10/2 - 10/9 we received a paper copy of the Cruise Compass every evening for the next day and the Day 1 Sail-away compass was there on Day 1. The cruise director mad mention of the online cruise compass but I never found it until I saw the QR code at guest services on day 3.
  16. Or a method to force folks to buy the DBP at the higher on-board cost
  17. If your itinerary includes Coco Cay you can get guacamole from the taco bar at Skipper's Grill but I'm not sure if you can bring it back on board.
  18. That is a possibility. RC pays those fees and if a ship was charged extra $$ per person on board per multiple port of calls it would surely be noticed on the taxes and port fees line item on the invoice.
  19. Free? They waive the $7.95 room service fee but you can bet they recover that from the price of the cabin itself.
  20. This article doesn't say if the $40 travel authorization fee is terminated. It just says testing for vaccinated travelers is no longer needed. There have been local Bermudian news stories saying the elimination of that source of revenue was the big obstacle to eliminate testing. Did Bermuda eliminate testing for vaccinated folks but kept the $40 entrance fee?
  21. On a recent sailing we were forced to pick 8:30 pm via cruise planner which was too late for us. First thing onboard, go a specialty restaurant (anyone one will do) and ask for a different time.
  22. For those weighing the decision to purchase the drink package and also Diamond or above this a testimonial that the 5 vouchers each given for Diamond+ was enough for us. We also redeemed RC Visa reward points for $250 On Board Credit. We spent that on wine with dinner and with other purchases had a $116 account balance at cruise end. This works for us!
  23. We just returned from Harmony sailing from Orlando (Oct 2 - 9) and they announced at the C&A special event this was the first cruise where masks were optional for crew.
  24. Been twice on Harmony in the morning and there were 3 other couples there. In our visits the concierge was busy with us all. My opinion people go there to take advantage of the help the concierge can give
