  1. You wash underwear? Since they are "Under" my clothes I never wash them. Just a joke, no hate mail please.
  2. Being from Southern California and only a 30 minute drive from the pier we take this Cruise Ship every opportunity we can. We were also given a totally free 3 day cruise in a Balcony Cabin for their "Mock first West Coast sailing Covid Cruise." There were approx. 200 Guests and we had the solarium to ourselves every night. I have taken the full selection of Itineraries and a couple of back to backs. I agree that the ship is fantastic and I also agree that the port services and boarding needs a lot of work. I believe that they need to bring back the Suite and Diamond +/pinnacle Lines but fear this will not happen because of "The Key." The ports and excursions are very Lackluster but we have still taken them all (at least twice). Just my 2 cents! or is it more due to inflation?
  3. Sept. 2023 marks 40 years we have been Loyal to Royal and It all began with that 1983 cruise and our first Sunset aboard Song of Norway. I also threw in the very crowded pool deck pic. LOL
  4. I have 7 prescription pills I take daily. I am a walking disaster. I only take the original prescription bottles for those considered "Controlled Substances" and I make sure that the bottle is dated correctly and NEVER put more medication in the bottle than is stated on the label. I also NEVER take them off the ship except for my epi pen and nitroglycerin for obvious reasons. I have severe Afib and have a defibrillator implant and an Insulin Pump. With all that said, I have never been stopped or questioned about any medications. It does help to register with TSA Precheck !
  5. I remember the Bon Voyage streamers, Midnight Buffet and the Deck 2 portal cabin with the convertable couch to twin bed.
  6. A man finds a lamp and a genie pops out. The genie says I will give you three wishes but what ever you wish for your mother-in-law gets twice as much! He asks for his first wish. I want a two week cruise in a star class suite. He is granted a two week cruise and his mother-in-law get a back to back cruise of the same class suite. He thinks for a moment and says "I want a million $$ ship board credit." He receives his credit and his in-law gets two million. He thinks for a moment and says "this isn't fair, I found the lamp!" Finally he says "I got it! I want you to scare me half to death."
  7. Hmmm... over 280 points and I have only received one block. I guess I better watch out with TSA removing ME because I can be pretty dense at times.
  8. The wife and I are finally spending a week in London in Sept. for our 40th Anniversary as a "pre cruise" stay instead of it being just a layover for other European destinations. We want to see as much as we can in and around London. Does anyone have a suggestion for a Hotel that is centrally located to most of the sites that London has to offer. Also, suggestions for a "must see and do." For our 30th anniversary I proposed for the second time under the Eiffel Tower so I am thinking maybe for our 40th anniversary I would propose once again in Buckingham Palace? Anyone know if they might "kick me out if I do?" I am also hoping that she is crazy enough to say YES for the 3rd time or this vacation may not end well for me.
  9. I have had sex on our balcony MANY times and it was very scary indeed. Most of the time I was all alone!
  10. We just stepped off Navigator on Dec. 16th and I tried something different this time with our Ducks. There was an amazing bunch of people "Duck Hunting" but there were four children ages 9-11 that were literally running up and down the stairs and tearing through everything looking for ducks. Those poor poinsettias and garland around the ship were destroyed. The wife and I decided to calmly look for as many as we could and then simply ask those that were also looking for ducks if they wanted one that we found instead of hiding them again in hopes of saving the poor decorations around the ship. We found 47 ducks and gave away almost 100 ending up with 0 by the end of the cruise. We spent a lot of time educating those curious about Hunting ducks and gave them a few to get them started. There was even a couple that said they brought more than 100 ducks to hide. ICON of the SEAS capacity 5000 passengers and 7500 ducks.
  11. I just got off the phone with RCL concerning my Nov 19th Beverage package refund. I was told that there was an error and my refund "did not complete ?" and that they were restarting my refund manually. When they finished I was told "You should see your refund in 14 to 30 days"

  13. I work as a Computer Analyst five days a week. I play multiple online video games on my PC most every night. When I cruise I leave all Electronic devices at home. Yes, even my Iphone but excluding my Insulin pump which I need to take so that I can compensate for all of those desserts I am not supposed to eat.
  14. Not if his intent was Suicide! That would be like a Kamikaze pilot coming back from a successful mission.
  15. You might want to purchase the drink package while it is on black friday sale! You can always cancel it after your first cruise if you feel it isn't worth it for you.
  16. I was thinking that maybe the Seapass cards could be rendered useless for any purchases (Drinks!) until you finish the safety drill. They could include the stateroom TV only playing the safety drill until you deactivate it by going to your Muster Station. With this process the staff would not need to hand out the Seapass card but you still are required to go there before the card is useful for purchasing. Yes I am taking into account those that do not use electronic devices to view the muster drill. That is why I didn't suggest to lock them out of their room as well. They may need to use the TV to view the safety video.
  17. First time I have seen Utopia and New Jersey in the same sentence.
  18. I have never received any C&A emails? Where do I sign up? I have been a member for over 30 years.
  19. If I canceled for "Lack of Tail" I would never have sailed much at all!
  20. Everything is going up. I may need to buy my Turkey on a "Black Friday" sale!
  21. This is bad news. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11419363/Majestic-Princess-cruise-slammed-health-experts-800-Covid-passengers-disembark-Sydney.html
  22. Your "Live Blog" was too short. I need more info. LOL Have a great trip!
