  1. Is this still the case? This was in 2017?
  2. What crusieplanner verison is that? Mine looks nothing like that?
  3. I’ve looked a dozen times under every two and there is no where on my cruise planner to purchase water.
  4. I don’t care if I have to buy it. But there has to be a way to buy soda and water for my room
  5. Which is perfectly fine. How does one go about doing that?
  6. Hmm - Not finding any water on my CP - odd because you are the second person that told me about it.. Good to know they offer cans of soda - I thought they only offered fountain soda at the bar. - Thanks!
  7. As I said I do not have the ability to carry them on - I have a drink package so I am fine for soda throughout the day - I just want cans of soda and bottled water in my room. There is nothing on the cruise planner that says I can buy it anywhere. That is why I am wondering is there a way to purchase beforehand or onboard to have them delivered to my room.
  8. I apologize if this was already covered somewhere else. But I am doing a B2B on two different ships solo - so I wont be carrying a lot with me except my luggage and carry on and my chances to go to the store before-hand are limited. But, I was wondering is it possible to have bottled water and soda delivered to your room. I understand you can carry it on but that is just not going to be possible for me. I know that drinks in your room are not part of my drink package. I thought I read somewhere you can order it thru Royal gifts - however anytime I have tried to access that page it never works for me. Is there some sort of package I can buy before-hand or onboard to have water and soda in my stateroom fridge?
  9. Let me know if that doesn’t help. I’ve had to cancel a bunch.
  10. Go to your calendar, scroll down to that day. And listed under the excursion is a button to modify or cancel.
  11. On a separate note. You are a very good writer from reading all your blog stories!
  12. Anyone on a recent cruise, do you have a compass with classes listed? Or know if you had to wear masks in the fitness center. When my folks were in Alaska. No one was made to wear masks in the fitness center??? But get very conflicting info via customer service. And it makes a difference when purchasing fitness classes prior to being onboard. If you cancel onboard the most you will get is obc.
  13. Everyone is still missing the point. How do I know which key program I am paying for if the description on the cruise planner never changed but about 6 weeks ago I got an email about the changes and the cruise planner never updated. Which one do I have. Because customer service is zero help.
  14. Prices just dropped again on balcony and ocean view. Saved another $72 off my balcony. Today would be a good day to call RCL if you want to save a few extra bucks off your booking. Refund is to my CC not onboard credits.
  15. On my cruise planner the description never changed for my sailing. Just like it the itinerary never changed on the sale side of things. I only got the email notification that the key was changing. So how the heck am I supposed to know which key I have?
  16. Wait did some of the key benefits change back to what they were prior to the changes about a month ago? I’m confused. And did not get any email about it
  17. I signed up thru the travel planner for a pack of 3 classes I think it was in the low $30's when it was on sale. And I know all about the Peloton a good friend of mine works in product development for them and is one of their trainers as well. I however have not made the switch over to it
  18. Spinning I am all for! I do not think I am coordinated for anything jazzersizery though... haha I would fall overboard or in the pool. BUt thanks for the info
  19. What fitness classes did they hold outside? Spinning by anychance?
  20. This is what I thought - but you can never get the same answer from customer service.
  21. For anyone that has recently sailed - has anyone taken any of the fitness classes? I have heard different things about spinning in particular - RCL website states that you do not have to wear your mask if it is likely to get wet/damp. I would imagine by doing an intense fitness class it would get wet. I have been told two different things by customer service - that in the fitness center itself you have to wear a mask - but not in an intense class and the other was yes regardless of an intense class and it getting wet you still have to wear it?
  22. After everyone's kind words and suggestions I am working with a nice gentlemen in the executive office. I will update everyone on what the final outcome is. Again, I totally appreciate everyone's support on this. Happy cruising everyone!!!
  23. Thanks Christine - I wrote the executive person I am working with a rather lengthy email with possible suggestions - basically saying that certain things were bad customer service indeed and can be made up for but nothing no matter what is offer will totally get rid of the discrimination part especially in 2021. However, I appreciated his kind words, his willingness to work with me, his sincerity to try and do whatever he can to make my vacation enjoyable.
  24. Ashley. Thank you kindly for your input. I agree that I will never know if taken seriously at an internal level. And you are right. How does one make anything like that right? He did offer one or two suggestions but went on to say he is also open to more input from me. I don’t know what is appropriate. Can’t very well say the grand suite and run of the boat, lol.
  25. Hello everyone; just wanted to follow up. I have been in contact with someone from the executive office. Very nice guy. He advised me that they would investigate the matter because of its serious nature and provide retraining or other options to individuals involved. He wanted to know what they could do to make this right by me. I said I felt like I was being put on the spot and if he could email me with a list of suggestions that he thought appropriate. I got an email back later that even thanking me for taking the time to speak to him and he would look into things that were available on my sailingS as I am doing a b2b and get back tome. Received an email last night with some very limited suggests. The subject line only referenced my first sailing. Although in the email he seems to switch between stuff for sailing vs sailings. And mentioned that if the very limited things he offered were not to my liking then he was open to suggestions. So I am asking for a little help. First do you think it’s wrong to ask for something and have it applied to both sailings instead of just one or do you think he may have misspoke? But since I have never faced any homophobic discrimination in my life by a company, what are some things you think it would be appropriate to suggest or ask for, without sounding entitled. My main thing yo him was I just had a bad taste in my mouth about this whole trip now and didn’t want to be on the fence about going or not going. And not having that bad taste hang in my mouth throughout the vacation. I did not tell him this part but I also don’t want to let them offer something subpar for the situation and just skate on by like none of this occurred. I haven’t cruised in such a long time and never been in his position so yes I believe they should make it right but don’t know what’s offerable and what is appropriate thanks everyone
