We just stayed in a junior suite on the Freedom. It was nice, but we didn't find that the extra space was really necessary for just the two of us. We went on the balcony once, and never used the tub. The coffee maker was an espresso/Americano pod machine, which is great if you love STRONG coffee. However, I did really enjoy the walk-in closet! It was nice to be able to change without waking my husband. Personally I wouldn't bid on a whim. It's bidding against other people who might really want that upgrade but can't afford it. But to each his own. Either way I hope you have a fantastic cruise!
