It’s possible for Sydney to host a Oasis but probably not just yet. From what I believe OPT can physically host a Oasis but if the terminal can process the passengers is the question. I have offered wondered why inter cruise have so many staff lately ,Every 20 feet there’s someone guiding you through. They have boarding time down to 15-20 minutes. Maybe they are getting ready for something big.

I believe it did , I’m not quite sure ,things are constantly changing and it’s hard to keep track. Tahiti still has Anthem ,Hawaii doesn’t go that far. Voyeger has still got the bookings in Brisbane for 25-26 season and it’s still got the Darwin repositioning booking .

I just watched that Carl , Sydney cruise schedule has removed Anthem and has now got Unknown vessel— Royal Caribbean. Allure to Galveston? You would think they are are full of the big ships and would give us one. We might get Navigator !!! Are you ready for a repo from Hell . A . to Sydney.

Maybe Allure ? It’s going in for pretty big refit early next year. Almost 2 months worth I read somewhere. They might convert it to duel fuel ,Apparently we are making marine methanol here soon.

Maybe he was trying to sell the harbour bridge to you,no royal ships have ever been able to fit under the bridge. Theres talk of another cruise port being developed a hour to the south called Port Kembla .Maybe that’s what he was referring to ?

It looks like Virgin is going to greener pastures , wouldn’t it be good if we got another ship in Sydney coming season.

Virgin and Disney are competing with Royal. Virgin has a new product and Also Disney. Carnival group just has old flee bag ships with bad food,worst that Royal. Hopefully we get our 3 ships back

There’s a pretty strong rumour Virgin is pulling out of Australia. Reports,the sales desk onboard saying they are assessing next season and apparently there’s port bookings in the Caribbean. Thats a bit less competition for Royal Caribbean and we might get our two ships back in Sydney.

Isn’t L.A short cruise going to be released this month? They can’t fill a Quantum in Brisbane and it’s to big to get into some of the islands . A Voyager would be more practical for Brisbane. It can dock in Vila also Melbourne plus there’s rumours Cairns may allow a Voyager to dock soon. Hey ,it could even tender to the mysterious Lelepa

If Quantum goes to California we might get Navigator for the season. That would be a good transpacific .

I recon Ovation might go to the Mediterranean. Royal would have finished the new terminal in Ravenna,which they paid for !!. They will have to boost revenue with more capacity and that would mean a Quantum class . I don’t know what Odyssey is up to but Ovation would be a all new ship for the region.

Quantum in Australia has a kettle in every cabin so they are onboard. Can’t you ask your cabin attendant for one ?

Cruise offers in Melbourne have a live booking site and the transpacific and the cruise before are still advertised but just don’t show prices . The leg from Hawaii to Vancouver has prices and available to book online. Maybe it will do the scenic route via Singapore??

Spectrum leaves Singapore in April and onto Shanghai. It’s mostly there and Hong Kong until February next year.

I would love to know how Spectrum is going with it’s bookings in Shanghai. I don’t think it will be there for very long and will go back to Singapore when Anthem leaves April 2025.

I would say extra time in dry dock. Rumours are it’s getting shore power fitted and will be deployed in California over the northern winter. If so ,it will probably be Californicated like Navigator was.

Even Radiance and Voyager will be uneconomical with the new emission laws in 2030 . That’s only 6 years away.

To bad they aren’t taking passengers,I’m sure it would be popular.
