Ive been waiting to talk to an RCL agent to reprice a cruise. So far on hold for 2 hrs.

I did a Blue Lagoon Excursion back in May. The beach is pretty inside the lagoon area. You can do a hike to explore other sections of the island, but the activities seemed limited for kids. Blow up raft things on the water. The food on the island was just ok. Drinks were extra. I personally wouldn't do that excursion again especially if it's over $60. I imagine Pearl Island will be similar.

I'm on Rhapsody departing Barbados next March. I hope nothing changes for early 2023 because my flight and hotel are booked.

Are you flying into Barbados a day ahead or more? Ill be there on the 10th to enjoy a full day there. Researching things to do.

I'll be in Bridgetown a day and a half before the cruise and wondered what to do. I heard there are caves, but they may be pricey. Any must do places to see, best beaches, good restaurants??

they have veggie burgers on request, but i've never seen Beyond Meat or Impossible burgers as an option. it's usually the bulk restaurant depot green veggie burgers. I'll be on Anthem in December so i'll also ask because I eat plant based. No veggie dogs.

I was surprised to find that my OBC at the end of my cruise was refunded back to my card. Granted I only had .54 cents left because I thought I had to use it all up. I thought it was a non-refundable credit too. But i was credited for that remaining amount. But not taking chances. I try to make sure I use my credits before last night. Go shopping, casino, etc.

So @WaybackCruiser do you think MyTimeDining (timeframes) was more popular than traditional dining (timeframes) for this cruise?

yes I do that currently. I was hoping that the newly built ships would change this going forward.

no you cannot book for entertainment via the cruise planner until you get onboard.

I also have a March 12 cruise on Rhapsody and i see the DBP. i don't see the combo DBP and Voom however, but I don't see that option on any of my sailings now. But regular one yes.

NOTE: While sailing in the Asian market... passports MUST BE SURRENDERED upon Check-In to ship security. This is required for any cruise line sailing within SE Asia. Passports are returned on the last day of the sailing. Therefore, have a photocopy of your passport with you... just in case.

I found a hotel on hotels.com called The Quay hotel in the Financial district. It had very good ratings and it was like $80 for the night. So I think that will do for the overnight stay.
