  1. They sent us an invitation through email.
  2. Just received our Royal Up on the Oasis, Jan 30, from Interior to Neighborhood View with a minimum bid. Docs came today too.

  4. We picked up our free tests offered by the government today. I plan on using them as a "pre-test" if one of us is showing symptoms. No sense wasting one the ones that I paid for.
  5. My take on this situation: I feel safer on a cruise than I do in my own city. On a cruise everyone is vaccinated and wears a mask. At the local grocery store I have no idea if someone is vaccinated (likely not here) and no one except employees is wearing a mask.
  6. Odd. I am on the same ship, Oasis, Jan 30, and none of my cruise documents list the formal nights. I checked other cruises I have been on and it is not on those documents either.
  7. I haven't tried the emed site, but our internet and phones are acting up. Some sites work, some don't. One of our phones work, the other doesn't.
  8. My math tells me that this just doesn't make sense. I would think you would have to use a % of the population, whether it be passengers, crew or both. There could be some wide variations with that scenario.
  9. I am too. Port Canaveral, on Mariner, August 13. Is this the one you are going on?
  10. That is what confuses me. I can't see them adding 50 more rooms. Maybe some day I'll find out. BTW I remember that you were going to be on this cruise. Would love to have met you.
  11. I have been following the number of rooms available on the Jan 30 sailing of Oasis. Yesterday there were 97 available ocean view balcony rooms. Today there were 147 ocean view balcony rooms. All other categories are virtually the same. Did RC just open these rooms up for booking? I find that kind of strange. Any thoughts?
  12. Looks like you lucked out. We use to cross at the Blue Water Bridge (we are US Citizens) and sometimes we would have the worst time entering Canada, but usually not coming back. Glad you had an easy time with it.
  13. I have taken two cruises since the restart (Indy and Adventure) and though the ship was not as crowded as what is being described now, people were not very social, especially Indy, and on both ships, after 10:30 you saw very few people.
  14. Here's one: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Mexico.html
  15. My son took a trip to Mexico and the resort where they were staying supplied and administered the test for them right at the resort. They knew it was required and wanted to make it easy for their customers that fly in.
  16. I have received an email every time.
  17. When filling in the last vaccination date field on the check in form, if you have had the booster shot, do you put the date for that or the second date of your vaccination?
  18. When we sailed the Independence there were signs posted and they were mostly adhered to. But the Adventure disappointed me. Signs were posted limiting the capacity, but there were many times there were at least 16 in the tub. Also, many young children (7-12 yr) without an adult present.
  19. I agree. This is a fabulous site. You can really tell when they are trying to fill up a ship. Thank you so much Ashley.
