  1. So the cruise planner online still shows Labadee as the port. All the excursions now say SOLD OUT in the corner. In the App on my phone it has changed to Falmouth and lists a bunch of excursions but I can't select any of them to get pricing and more info. I guess they're working on it at least. Maybe a few more days until available to purchase.
  2. Sailing on Symphony April 6th. Just got the email today. Re-routing to Falmouth Jamaica. This will be second time we've missed out on Labadee. Was on Freedom in 2016 and the captain came over the intercom and said locals were peacefully protesting and blocking the pier with boats. Sea day it was. I have yet to set foot in Labadee and have only YouTube to show me how beautiful it is. I guess I'll try again in few years. Never been to Falmouth but after watching Ben & David's video, not sure if I want to get off the ship there. Any advice for us that are going?
  3. So we are going on Wonder for the transatlantic in April. 14 nights will be the longest cruise we have been on. Current price for the DBP is $66.00 U.S. per day plus gratuity. Seems reasonable but here are the numbers if we both have to have it. DELUXE BEVERAGE PACKAGE 21+ $924.00 USD $924.00 USD $332.64 USD Gratuity TOTAL $2180.64 USD I can take another guest with us for this amount of money. Somehow I don't see us getting the package on this trip.
  4. Well... the walls and doors are made of metal and therefore you can affix a magnet to them. I also like to place a small item or picture stuck to the outside of the cabin door. This is just in case you come back from a late night of partying and need a little extra help finding your cabin.
  5. It's been a few weeks so I thought I would give an update to my experience with the upcoming Wonder of the Seas transatlantic from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona on April 20th, 2022. I paid off my cruise late December, but had to make a tweak to my flights from Air2Sea last week. I changed to an earlier departure flight and the folks at Air2Sea were more than accommodating to make the change. The price even went down a few dollars so happy me. The following day I logged into my cruise and low and behold I saw that a $408 "balance still owed" had popped up. After an hour on the phone, RC figured that when I changed the one flight, my cruise purchase price went up. Still puzzled on how that works but they straightened it out and now I am paid in full again. I even have a credit coming for the cheaper fight. I inquired with the agent about Wonder not showing up for the transatlantic and she stated that with reduced capacity in place that the ship was technically booked full. Makes sense. One thing I would love some insight into is the Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses that show up for Wonder on this cruise. My ocean-view balcony lists $761 for Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses. This is easily the most I have ever had to pay for such expenses. More than double actually. I have paid much less and visited more ports in the Caribbean on other cruises. I checked the return trip fare for a similar cabin leaving Barcelona and arriving in the U.S. in October and the fees were only a little over $300. Does anyone have a similar situation and does anyone know why those costs are so high on this trip? The agent did not have an answer. Also I have yet to book accommodations in Barcelona so any more info on where to stay for a few days at a reasonable price would be great. After two weeks, someplace with a laundromat would be ideal!
  6. Wonder of the Seas for some time has not shown a transatlantic sailing in April 2022 Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona. I went to the RC site today, 12/14 and Allure of the Seas is back with it's original April 24th 2022 sailing to Barcelona. Please tell me we are not going to have switch everything back to Allure. I hope this is just an error. The final payment is due soon for us sailing on Wonder.
  7. Can anyone explain why I can't find Wonder of the Seas Transatlantic from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona April 2022 on the RC site or any other travel site for that matter? It still shows up as my next cruise in my planner.
  8. So can someone help with a question? Just got moved to Wonder from Allure sailing April 20th 2022 and noticed my vacation receipt is now showing around $1500 more for the sailing. The email I got said the price would be locked in at the Allure rate. I did notice the port expenses more than doubled. They went from $143 per person to $380 per person.
  9. Well the Transatlantic trip is back for Wonder sailing out of Fort Lauderdale on the 20th of April. Still waiting to receive news we have been moved. We have two ocean balconies. I had hoped they would wait until we all were aboard. Oh well. Can only wait and see. I do think Wonder has the most balconies of any ship out there, so that's a comfort. Sorry to hear some Suite guests aren't getting a one-to-one transfer.
  10. So I was on the RC site yesterday and saw the transatlantic on Wonder sailing April 20th. I was a bit concerned that people would start to book cabins before the move of guests from the Allure was complete. The suite category was listed as sold out. I have a ocean view balcony to be moved. However, I went to the site today and the only transatlantic listed for Wonder is coming back from Spain next fall. So it was up for a day and now not listed. I also have Air2Sea that has to be shuffled due to the date change. Not sure to call RC or just wait until I am moved to sort out the flights. Would love anyone's advice on this. P.S. I have been reading these posts for years and today finally signed up! Thank you all for the wealth of information you have provided.
