Thanks for the response. I like the dj at the pool. I wanted to confirm that I didn't have to spend money to hear music from a DJ in Hideaway Beach. I will enjoy the free music at Oasis Lagoon. Thanks again

Does anyone know if RCC move the DJ from Oasis to the Hideaway Beach Area. Does Oasis Lagoon still have a DJ on site?

Hi fellow passengers, My wife and I have booked this cruise. We will be bringing my sister and brother-in-law along with us. This will be our first cruise on the Wonder OTS. We are looking forward to sailing this ship. Although we've been to the ports of call, this should still be a Wonder-ful cruise.

My wife and I are loyal to Royal. We started cruising in 2009 with Carnival. We did 2 cruises with them and liked it. The age dynamic was a bit to stomach. However, we booked a cruise thru Princess and wasn't thrilled because of the age differential on that ship (a lot of old people). We tried RCC in 2015 and have been loyal since. The age dynamic and assortment of activities that you can do are great. We just reached Diamond Status and looking forward to the free drinks we can get with the status. With all of this said, I hope RCC slows down on their price increases!!!

My name is James. Me and my family (approximately 40-45 people) will be on this cruise. We will have some first timers and some returnees. just booked this cruise out of Galveston. Looking forward to this cruise. Haven't been on the Allure. Anyone else out there on this cruise?

We're hoping to make Diamond by mid-late 2023. We (my wife & I) are only 12 points away. However, we have a 6 niter planned in December 2022 and a 4 niter planned in June 2023. We will get another 5 niter in between December and June. Diamond is in our future!!!

Favorite ship so far is Symphony of the Seas. Ship has everything you need and want. A lot of places to eat, great entertainment, quiet places to relax, plenty of spots to relax in the water. Food is excellent and drinks are very good.

You are correct. IOTS is pretty big. I probably used the wrong words when asking my question.

Anyone know if duty free alcohol is being sold on some of the smaller ships? I've been on Symphony and I've purchased a few bottles from my sailings on it. However, I wasn't sure if the smaller ships do the same thing. I'm cruising on Independence OTS in Nov and wanted to take some alcohol home with me for the holidays

We don't take hundreds of pics (just our preference). However, we took quite a few each day. On our 7 day cruise, I would say we took 50-75 pics

I've seen shorts worn in the MDR. I've worn some nice Polo Shorts and Polo Shirt in the MDR. I would try to dress up the shorts so that it doesn't come across too casual.

Although they are very sensitive for guest keeping masks on indoors, they allow you to remove for personal pics and/or ship photos. My wife and I took several personal pics indoors and was never bother by staff.

It seems as if no one has had any dealing with Priceline and several of you like MEI. On future cruises that I book, I may give MEI an opportunity to service my cruise bookings. However, reading some of your comments. it may be better to go back to booking directly thru RCC. It seems as if it's better to deal with RCC directly than having a TA do it for you.

Has anyone had any experience with Priceline? I've used them for my next 2 bookings. Seems as if we have to call them if we're alerted of a price drop. From what I've read on this blog thread, the agent should be contacting the client.

I was on Symphony 9/18 as well. I was told that the ship had approximately 30% capacity. The 1800 or so seems correct.

I'm going to try My Time Dining on my November Cruise. I hope it's not too painful. Thx for the info.

Ok Thanks for the feedback. Are they still doing alcohol sales on board the ships?

For those that have been cruising since the reopening, does RCC still do the Duty Free Alcohol Sale that they used to do? I've been on Oasis & Harmony of the Seas a few times.They would offer bottle of alcohol to be purchased. However, you wouldn't receive them until the final evening of the cruise. Is this still being offered? I'm going on Symphony of the Seas mid September and wanted to prepare my luggage if this was still an option. Any feedback is appreciated.
