They'd have to drag me out of a lazy river at Coco Cay.  (A precedent has been set - I had to be coaxed out of one at the Westin Scottsdale at closing time by hotel staff.  I was unhappy about their decision).

Why do you think it would be disruptive?
Full disclosure, lazy rivers are the only water features/attractions I enjoy.  I’ve never been a fan of swimming pools, beaches, and water slides.  I have yet to try wave pools.

We were just on Symphony a few weeks ago and went in there all the time with our 7yo son ..... we didn’t eat there, but he loved playing all the games in there 

I guess I'm in the minority, but I love the art auctions. I love Disney, and bought two prints last cruise that were about half the price they would be at Walt Disney World.

But you have to know your prices and budget going in.

We met someone about 8 years ago who only packed a carryon for a 11 day cruise.  He and his wife always asked for robes the first day and that is all they would wear the rest of the cruise.  We did see him talking to someone just off of the cruise ship in one port with only a robe on.  WOW.  His name was Todd and we call him "The Todd" to this day.

I will never stay in an inside room. Forget that I'm a suite snob. We actually use our room. DD is on the spectrum, and we need a space she can use to process all the stimulus of the day for an hour or so in the afternoons. 

This is not technically and on the ship thing, but I will never do a ‘resort for a day’ excursion. You leave the ship where you have a pool, free flow drinks (if you’re like me), all inclusive food and great service to pay to go to another place that has……a pool, free flow alcohol, all inclusive food, and great service. I just don’t get it! It seems like you are paying for something the ship already provides. Sure, sometimes there is a beach involved, but surely you can go to beaches without this pay charge. And if you don’t like beaches then why not just stay on the ship? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We second Nassau.  We have stayed on the ship on a few cruises and enjoyed a less crowded ship.  However, we did enjoy the Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Swim one cruise.

They'd chase the Jellicle Ball and bring it to their friend, not try to attend it.

I think that Royal has a great plan in place, and a work around so to speak. Would it be great if everyone on the ship was vaccinated, sure. But getting the vaccine is a personal choice, we can't make someone get it. All the safety protocols are in place and everything is working as it should. 
I don't believe that NCl will be successful in this given what other lines are already doing. 

We complain about RC's protocols for US/Caribbean cruises, but man they're free and open compared to the protocols the lines are forced to use in countries that subscribe to zero covid.

These are great floats too. I bought these for our May 2020 symphony that was cancelled and have moved it 3 times now. Hoping to use them now in October!

I come at this from a different angle, every penny I have I earn from painstakingly hard work and then careful decision making. I never consider having my finances in check/order as a privilege;  I carefully choose how I spend what I have, for example I never cruised until in my 50's because I had other commitments at the time.
When I see Star Class people I look at them with admiration, knowing one day I will either Royal Up win or book a Star Class when that experience is the most important thing to make me part with my monies. I look at their joy and I am so happy for that family and strive to be in that place someday.
For example right now I have contracted an in ground pool Oasis in my backyard and the price tag is north of 100,000. No Star Class for me until that bill is firmly behind me, when I was young I saw what others had achieved and worked like crazy to get there, nowadays it seems this type of thinking has given way to a bit of the opposite. 
So when you are in Star Class & I am not but I smile & wave at you...I'm not being creepy I just think you are so cool & want that for myself in the future.

Oh no I absolutely agree with that.  I usually ask for a small side dish of the “food experiment”.  This cruise I don’t have to worry.  I’m bringing 2 human garbage pails in the persons of my brother and nephew.  Swear to God they will eat ANYTHING!!!

Oh boy do I feel this one.  The Clean Plate Club guilt is real.
