  1. In-laws scheduled for CVS rapid antigen Friday in southern NH. Received email on Wednesday from CVS cancelling test. They were still able to schedule and get a NAAT at Walgreens.
  2. I completely agree. We had an aft starboard room last week and started using the port side elevators.
  3. There is a world of difference between Adventure Ocean where there have been reports of strict adherence to age and the teen clubs. In the teen club, there is a strict cut off at 17 (no 18 yo’s). 13-17 is 1 big group.
  4. Which ship? Just got off Wonder yesterday and teens were never separated into 2 groups (mine are 14 and 15). They weren’t separated on Oasis in September, either.
  5. Wonder this week is sailing at 4900. It accommodates 5734 at double and 6988 max. Rumors on board are that they are expecting 6000 next week. If you’re sailing over spring break, expect pretty full ships.
  6. You can also have them assign your new cruise to a new agent when you book on board. Get your new agent’s information and the next cruise agent will help you do it.
  7. No, you can’t restrict their access. The teen clubs are not like adventure ocean. The counselors are not there to babysit and most activities are held around the ship such as ship wide scavenger hunt, Rock climbing, dodgeball on the sports court. If you’re not comfortable with them wandering all over the ship unsupervised, they should not be in the teen club
  8. We had the chicken and waffles at Mason Jar today. Chicken was really good, waffle was a waffle. Red velvet pancakes were really good as well
  9. They’re very strict on admission with staff at the entrance to check you in. Anyone entering the park, must have a ticket
  10. One other thing - make sure to check the emails for everyone sailing with you. Somehow the last concierge email we received went to my 13 year old’s email.
  11. Make sure to check the emails for everyone sailing with you. The last concierge email we received went to my 13 year old son. He didn’t notice it until 2 days before the cruise.
  12. No one in the Facebook group for our sailing has reported receiving concierge email yet. Usually it is 4-5 days out but things seem to be running later than usual. My guess email is [email protected]
  13. Oasis in September was allowing 12 year olds with a signed waiver.
  14. I’m almost positive that I’ve always gone through the emed website and click test now. I’m sure it sounds confusing now but it’s really very easy and intuitive once you get started.
  15. You will connect to a proctor while under your child’s managed profile. You will have to show your ID and will swab your child. My child was there for results but not sure if they have to be.
  16. I check how many we have out every time I return towels. My teens live on the flowriders so we go through a lot of towels.
  17. Points don’t get doubled if you royal up to a junior suite.
  18. Marla and Israel for sure. Hannah was on but has or will be leaving for vacation soon. ETA - There’s also reports that Claudio is currently on as well
  19. I have 2 teenage boys. I would go Aquatheater. We sailed in one in September with our 2 teens and there is something nice about us and them having our own rooms with doors. Also, if you’re sailing with family, the aquatheater balconies are amazing to watch the aqua shows.
  20. On Oasis in September they were strict. Kids had to be at least 12 and even then they required a waiver. Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea for kids under 12 to be in there and even some 12 year olds don’t have the needed maturity. The teen clubs on RC are glorified hangouts of teenagers including 17 year olds. While there are organized activities such as scavenger hunts and climbing times, there is NO youth staff supervision during the activities and even limited supervision in the club. They even showed The Conjuring one night in the teen club. For anyone familiar with it - this is NOT like Edge on Disney Cruise Line (Mickey language, please). Unless you are ok with your kid running around the ship completely unsupervised with kids you don’t know and trust them to make decisions when faced with scenarios that are age inappropriate (my 15 and 13 year olds chose to leave the club when that movie was shown), it’s really a bad idea to even ask.
  21. I have 2 teens (age 13 and 15). On Oasis in September and Independence this month, they never broke the teen club into the sub groups. All activities were for all teens 12 or 13 to 17.
  22. If you’re in the US and it’s at a price you can live with, book it now. If price goes down, call to have them price adjust. Better yet, use a travel agent and ask them do it for you. Our agent at MEI travel has been great about it. As time goes on, your selection of rooms will decrease - especially 2 right across the hall from each other. To directly answer your question, prices are generally at some level of sale. Today’s is a little better than most. If you miss it, tomorrow prices will go up quite a bit and then in a day or 2, will come back down to same or close as today. And if it is a popular cruise, prices will only go up
