Far as I know the menu hasn't changed since Covid. paper thin scallops, some kind of lobster salad, smokey tomato soup, the brazino (sp) fish; filet; & the world. The only thing that does change is the wines that are paired with the food.

Aqua show booked during Super Bowl
barjpoe replied to Starrynight0154's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Slight change of subject - Will be on Sympathy next weekend. What do you think. Next week league playoffs. Aqua show or maybe Studio B + Playmakers. -
I think they've started doing Hibachi for lunch. I know on my Sympathy cruise in 2 weeks I can book it. So go for it. Its usually a bit cheaper and they serve the same items.

there is an Amtrak station right next to the Newark Airport

We've stayed at both the Country Inn and Hampton. both good. as far as dinner you can always order takeout/delivery. Zarrella's is good. which we did when we stayed at the Counrty Inn , got a lot of food. you could share an entree . When we stayed at the Hampton Inn, there is a bar in the pool area and it has a few takeout menus, we got pizza (not sure from whom, got a couple of drinks and ate at one of the tables on the deck.

Just don't jump in the hot tub with your phone still in your pocket. Oops!

Same here. I've seen people try and leave before or even during.

I've read that you can get 'cash' from the slots that can be taken from your OBC. How is that done? Please, very simple explanation as I'm can be 'slot machine challenged'. Thanks.

Brunch instead of separate breakfast & lunch?
barjpoe replied to jbrinkm's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I don't like it either -
We did Jewel in this past fall, from Amsterdam to Bayonne, it was fine. Had to miss Reykjavik because of the remains of the hurricane Franklin, and di run into some fog, some rain, cool days, but then a very hot day in Halifax.

Looks like your list just got a little longer with the new Icon drinks coming out. -
I don't think so. unlike chops that you only can order one entree. Between the apps, pasta, sides, and then the entree, and then dessert: that's a lot of food; (If its just 2 of you); but if there are many and share go for it. The waiter may also come back and ask if you want anything else

Yes, the lunch is good. And for that price go for it. If you can find the lunch menu, look it over. The dinner menu has a few more items on it. There is no longer the burger. DH had the Crispy Squid (Calamari) he said it was good and had it again another time. I had the Tomato Bruschetta, it was ok. For the entree: he had the Lasagna (it was a lot) & I had the Eggplant parm (it is now called something else in Italian). For dessert: he had the Banana Spilt (also a big portion) & I had the blueberry cheesecake. I enjoyed it the next time we went we share the cheesecake. The server automatically brought the Garlic Bread. 1 roll each

Why do they(chefs) use so MUCH salt? If people need more salt there is a item on the table called a salt shaker; add as much as you like.

Or magnets picked up at ports.

I had given a cruise friends a license plate type magnet of their Cavalier King Charles spaniel and it was stolen, never found.

Since I started this topic, I'm reporting back. Enjoyed our meals at Jamie's Did a luncheon and a dinner. DH liked the crispy squid (the MDR's fried calamari was not good). I liked the eggplant; had the cheesecake for dessert both times: good & plenty. Hubby had the banana split for his desert also good & plenty. Didn't get the meat plank so can't comment on it.

I'd like a Mariner one.

Just came off Mariner (5nighter)The Love & Marriage show was at 2PM, They also had 2 afternoon shows of the Ice show. I agree with having some of the more popular/attending games/events to larger venues. Really enjoyed it many years ago when there wasn't any Art auctions. That would open up that space for more enjoyable events.
