  1. Yes that's right. I sailed on Anthem.
  2. We had our bid accepted from a Junior Suite to a grand suite within a week of sailing. They didn't send us the email until the day before we sailed. I just saw on the app that our cabin number had changed, and checked on the deck plan to see that it was a grand suite. I quickly went on the cruise planner to cancel our internet packages, as you get internet included with a grand suite. We wouldn't have been able to cancel in time if we'd just relied on getting an email as the cruise planner closes a few days before sailing.
  3. Thanks, I hope it's true as we might get a chance for the filet!
  4. Thanks! It sounds like it won't hurt trying to book.
  5. We have booked a junior suite for Anthem. It's a 12 night sailing and I was wondering if Coastal Kitchen will just repeat their 7 day dinner menu rotation, or if they will have 12 days of different dinner menus. As we'd like to do a 5 night dining package, we'll probably have to miss the filet on Day 1, so was wondering if Day 8 would repeat the same Day 1 Coastal Kitchen menu. Also, as we're junior suite, can we make dinner reservations for the length of the cruise when we board, or are we only allowed to make them one day at a time? I know that grand suite guests can make their reservations in advance or on day 1 of the cruise. Thankyou!
  6. I'm due to sail on Anthem with my family on 1st August. I am really surprised that Royal Caribbean are asking the fully vaccinated adults to have the PCR test. I know Royal are offering it as a complimentary test, but I am aware that they that they cost around£99 per person if people book them privately. We have 2 children in our party- one 17years and one 16years . They are unvaccinated and will only be required to have the lateral flow test at the port. It feels like they have got it the wrong way round! Most people on board will be fully vaccinated so that's going to cost Royal Caribbean a lot to pay for these expensive tests. Surely the expensive PCR tests should be for the unvaccinated cruisers?
  7. We are booked on a UK sailing from Southampton this August (fingers crossed!) We have sailed on the Oasis and Freedom class ships and are used to going, in the evenings, to the Promenade Cafe to get our speciality coffees that are included with the drinks package. I've noticed that the Cafe 270 is the venue for speciality coffees on the Anthem, but it appears to close at 5pm every day. The Promenade Cafe, although open 24 hours, doesn't seem to offer a speciality coffee menu. From what I can see from ship tours on youtube, it looks like they just offer the complimentary coffee, tea and water. We were looking forward to having late night speciality coffees but it looks like that won't be an option. Does anyone know if this is the case? Thankyou, it's not the end of the world but I'm just curious!
