  1. Yes, you can use streaming services for free with the surf and stream package (assuming she has a subscription). Make sure you don't use your mobile data, however, because you'll incur additional fees for using cellular at sea.
  2. From Nick Weir's twitter post a couple days ago, it looks like Wonder's aquatheater will have bench seating instead of chairs. I wonder why they decided to do that.
  3. The Royal Caribbean Press Center (https://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/) has a lot of photos and videos you can download. Navigate to 'ships' then select the ship (ex. Wonder): Then you can choose what you want (videos, images etc.):
  4. Here's the menu: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/menus/room-service-menu-sample.pdf Continental is free, 'American' has a service charge.
  5. This Cruise Critic thread has been following along since the beginning and they have some great photos from inside sources: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2407590-wonder-of-the-seas-blocks-are-in-the-house
  6. On a side note, I've heard that Royal might be planning an Oasis class meetup since all 5 ships will be in the Caribbean.
  7. Cococay is divided into two sides, the thrill side, and the chill side. The fancy attractions (ex. water park, zipline etc.) are all located on the thrill side. The chill side is pretty much all complimentary (such as beaches, the pool, restaurants etc.)
  8. If you're referring to the pdf cruise reciept, that may be outdated. They moved final payment closer to the sailing. Go to this link https://www.royalcaribbean.com/reservation/lookup and lookup your booking. It should say the official and updated final payment date there.
  9. I live in Ontario (Canada), where they aren't providing PCR tests for regular citizens if you test positive. They'll only test you if you are deemed high-risk. So, if I test positive on a rapid test before the cruise, it that a form acceptable to Royal? From Royal's website: "To qualify for a refund, you must present your verified positive test result in a form acceptable to Royal Caribbean International"
  10. No, unless you're an unvaccinated child. Also the testing is 2 days, not 48 hours before. So if you have a cruise that departs Friday, you can do it any time on Wednesday or Thursday
  11. Canada allows NAAT tests as well. They have a slower turnaround than rapid, but it's faster than PCR. So, keep that in mind. (CVS and Walgreens both offer NAATs)
  12. Cruisedeckplans.com is probably what you're looking for. Click this: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/cruiseline.php?line=Royal Caribbean Then choose whichever ship you want and scroll to the very bottom of the ship's page. You'll see a box that looks like this: Alternatively, if you don't want to do all the navigating, you can search on google: "shipname" deck plans filetype:pdf (cruisedeckplans will usually be the first option)
  13. Some staterooms have been set aside as designated quarantine rooms so they'll send you there. Usually, they'll disembark you at a port and fly you home if there is still a large portion of the cruise left. If you test positive near the end, they'll probably quarantine you until you return to the original port, then send you to a hotel.
  14. Also, something interesting is that it looks like the bed does not split into two twins; it only remains as a king. Wonder of the Seas: Symphony:
  15. I was looking at the new port canaveral sailings for wonder of the seas and it looks like they have updated the stateroom photos to feature the new room design. However, the new photo has only been updated on the ocean view balconies. It's interesting to see what the finished rooms will look like.
  16. Yes, they used to have half day passes, but they discontinued it and now only full day passes are available.
  17. You don't need to buy it from Royal. HOWEVER "BinaxNOW" is not the right test. Make sure you get the "BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test" Look for "Ag Card", that is the proctored one. The one that is simply binaxNOW is not proctored and is not accepted by Royal.
  18. Looks like you'll need tours for St. Kitts and Barbados but not for Antigua and St. Martin. (If everyone is fully vaccinated)
  19. About this, I was reading an article the other day about how Canadians could use the Walgreens test for free. They can use a Canadian drivers license and any US address. Has any Canadian here tried this option before, since I might try it? https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/free-test-u-s-1.6242844
  20. How have the lines been at Thrill Waterpark recently? I know with the reduced capacity there's less people overall. Also there are stricter Covid policies for unvaccinated kids, so maybe there are less children cruising? Also, if anyone has had 2 ships docked at Cococay, how were the lines?
  21. Are taxes included or extra for parking at terminal 18 in Port Everglades?
  22. It could be that they're using one side/area for quarantine rooms, similar to the "crew access only" on Allure.
