  1. RC was pretty specific in their protocol guidance for the few countries that kept testing/vaccine requirements.
  2. Just get some walkie talkies and tape the transmit button down.
  3. The old muster drill was much more valuable to the crew than to passengers. I wonder if that's part of the issue. It goes without saying that the old drill was by far the worst part of the cruise experience for basically every passenger. I wonder how long before NCL passengers blame contracting covid on the sardine can muster drill experience.
  4. I think Nassau is being too hard on itself. It is investing tons of money in the port area and is still recovering from the covid economic downturn outside the port area.
  5. The only caveat to cruiseplum is that its fare and availability data can be a couple days old, so go check RC's website to be sure once you find the cruise you're looking for.
  6. Philly did have a cruise terminal into the 2000s, but it dried up as ships got bigger and the city didn't want to invest to support bigger ships.
  7. Progreso is trying to expand enough to get Oasis ships in. Grand Cayman hasn't been nearly as hospitable in expanding.
  8. It's worth noting Starlink itself has no bearing on Wifi calling. There are other potential road blocks that are the common cause.
  9. There are no covid-related requirements for a cruise passenger to stop there.
  10. Is it possible you don't have wifi calling enabled? I've had it get disabled when I travel before. And you can't re-enable wifi calling without being on a cellular network.
  11. MTD was a solid idea but they just let it explode into the chaotic element it is today. They need to reduce the number of slots available and not take any walk-ups.
  12. Porters will swarm you (not in a negative way) once you get dropped off.
  13. I've seen good grilled cheese and a bad toast sandwich in the MDR. I've seen good mac and cheese and bad buttered noodles with a slice of American on top in the MDR, too
  14. You get points for the room you stay in, not just for rooms you book.
  15. I thought that was the trigger, but I think it may be once you've formally checked in at the pier.
  16. But that doesn't explicitly say 18+ adults revert back to their own accumulated status. Just that if they gain a tier after turning 18 based on their parents' status, then that would get reverted.
  17. Rule of thumb. If it has carbonation, alcohol (or a virgin drink typically made with alcohol), or comes in its own packaging, it's not included. Everything else is.
  18. 4 cruises I've been on since masking was turned optional for all, maybe 5% of passengers wore masks, maybe less than that. Only on my Vancouver cruise last June did it feel like a tangible number of people wore masks, and a lot of that was due to the amount of Canadians on board. The only terminal I had to wear a mask in (since that rule went away)was Los Angeles in July 2022, though I'm sure that's gone by now.
  19. Your set sail pass is the one their records will go against. You'll be fine
