Alaska sailings limiting capacity?
VoidoftheSeas replied to VoidoftheSeas's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
That's unfortunate. Glad to know it wasn't just me. I'm just trying to hedge my bets against my Caribbean sailing in August. May just not be able to. -
It looks like you are not able to book a stateroom for more than 2 people for Alaska 2021 cruises through the website. Has anyone confirmed by phone that this is the case?

Requiring Vaccine...so no Fla.?
VoidoftheSeas replied to SteveinSC's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I'm with you, but I think in reality, they're all trying to work together so no one comes out looking worse than they have to. DeSantis can't just back off his policy like that without re-election repercussions. The cruises need to balance looking like they're cooperating with the CDC. The CDC has to appear that it's taking the hard line, conservative approach that it wants to be know for. -
New CDC updates to CSO?
VoidoftheSeas replied to dandi799's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
The length of the cruise matters because longer cruises mean more time/opportunities for potential exposure to Covid. -
The food! I'm really boring most of the time with the meals I eat at home. Not a lot of variety, which I'm totally okay with. But I love trying new things on cruises.

Double booked for July. At least one of them will happen. Obviously, I would prefer my Oasis trip, but I get the feeling that Port Liberty may not be up and running in July even if there is traction with the CDC and the CSO.

Currently booked for July 23rd. I'm 50/50 on whether that happens or not. Cautiously optimistic, but not confident.

I know we're a long way out from 2024 bookings, but I'm hoping to get a jump on how I should approach this. My wife's and my 15th wedding anniversary will be in 2024 and, conveniently many transoceanic sailings occur at the perfect time of year for us to celebrate this (Mid April). I've noticed that Star Class suites seem to be snatched up rather quickly for these longer 12+ night cruises, and I'm hoping someone who has experience with this could shed some light on the best way to snag one of these rooms. We haven't really used TAs for any of our traveling, but if that's what it takes, I'd certainly be open to it.

Booked for my 40th birthday in 2023! So excited!
