I don’t understand the disembarkation testing for the unvaccinated. What’s the purpose

It looks like unvaccinated kids can get antigen test, instead of pcr. That would make things easier for us since we have a 3 year old.

I’m confused. If you’re exposed to Covid during the cruise, you’ll have to quarantine for 10 days, even if you’re fully vaccinated?

I know the RCCL accepts the rapid pcr test from Walgreens (ID now?). I think the limiting factor would be the turnaround time. The Walgreens test result is ready within a couple of hours. We have a 3 year old and will take him to Walgreens for his test

@Mattdo you know what the pcr test policy is for the unvaccinated kids? My 3 year old just tested positive on a home test. Fever and cough. We have a March cruise scheduled and I’m concerned about him testing positive on the pcr test. Thanks.

If they know March/April sailings aren’t happening, they need to notify us now instead of waiting until the last minute.

I hope they’ll drop post cruise testing and allow you to quarantine in your stateroom.

This is my biggest worry too. Hopefully, they’ll change some of the protocols by March.

We have a spring break cruise booked on wonder in March. Our youngest is unvaccinated because of his age. My worst case scenario would be to test positive while on board and be quarantined on deck 6. Im ok with preboard testing but hope they’ll stop post cruise testing.

It’s because it’s cold and gloomy here in the winter, just like many other Midwest cities. We finally got some sun yesterday and it was glorious!

Do you know the room capacity? I read somewhere it can sleep 10 people but RCCL website lists 9.

Why quarantine? If she’s fully vaccinated, she can monitor her symptoms with a negative test.

I wonder why. Is it delivered by the genie or the food service team?
