I’m definitely getting a tip fatigue because of all these places asking for a tip. I’m not tipping at a fast food restaurant 

I wouldn’t worry about the generic questionnaire at this point. Communicate directly with Jade. 
 

make a list of restaurants you would like to eat at, what type of snacks and beverages  you want in your room, the shows and activities you would like to do, ask her to decorate the room and cake for your bday, etc. there are many star class trip reports by @Lovetocruise2002 @WAAAYTOOO and others that you can read on live blogs section. Hope you have a great time!

SC is an awesome experience. We enjoyed them very much, esp the free laundry service.  I thought we would always cruise SC but want to try different ships/ rooms and there are only so many SC rooms for a family of 5.  I think sky class might also be our “suite” spot

We’re really going to miss the laundry service!  With 3 kids, we would send out a full bag every morning.

Thank you all. I agree with everyone. Loved star experience but UDP was too much. We were often too full from snacks to enjoy our dinners. We’re a family of 5 so thinking about a 2 bedroom GS. 

Morning!  We’ve done 2 Star class cruises in the past and while we enjoyed having a genie, we’re thinking about a sky class cabin on Oasis next fall. I had several questions and would appreciate your inputs.  Thank you!

1) I know you can board early as a sky class but will the room be ready earlier than a general cabin?

2) when do they usually have free drinks (non-alcoholic) and snacks in the suite lounge?  

3) is CK open for embarkation lunch?

4) we will be diamond on our next cruise, can we use our kids’ drink vouchers for alcohol or we can only get non-alcoholic drinks since they’re underage?

5) is there an express debarkation with the concierge?

Thanks to @WAAAYTOOO and @Lovetocruise2002, my family tried our first SC on Wonder last March. We had an awesome experience with Marla.  Our second SC was on symphony last Oct and it was still good. But I agree that the wow factor wasn’t there the second time. We still like the bigger SC rooms but I think we’ll try a 2br GS next time.  
 

the amount of food was ridiculous. I didn’t even get to enjoy some of the specialty dining because I was still full from lunch/snacks

Free Laundry is why I book star class. I only have to pack 2 of everything, even underwear.

Our kids are early risers, even on vacation . It was like a private session for us. Early worms got to ride flowrider for an hour!

Yay!!  Another @Jax live blog!  It’s becoming a Christmas tradition!

we got off symphony in November. We had 1 hour of private flowrider session for SC on our last sea day. It was from 8-9 am. My daughter and I were the only ones and we basically had a private lesson with the staff. It was fun but I was pretty banged up. 
 

they had bridge tour but no galley tour for SC. Can’t wait to follow along. 

I agree with $100/ day for genie and $200 per suite attendant. I’ve read some crazy high numbers on FB groups, though. They’ll treat you like a star no matter.

There are YouTube videos of both rooms. I believe wonder UFS sleeps 10 vs Symphony’s 9.  Wonder UFS does have 2 rooms on the first floor. 

If you’re paying cash at a table game, can you still get credits for playing?

Just got back last week. We wore masks on the plane but not on the cruise. Maybe 10% wore masks. At this point, no one cares if you do or not. Enjoy your vacation!
