  1. Family is cruising in June from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska.   I have the bus transportation reserved to get us from Seward to Anchorage (RC excursion).   My issue is we have a very late flight out (almost midnight).  Giving us most of the day in Anchorage to kill time.  I don’t want to haul all our luggage around town and I don’t think I can check it into the airlines that early(believe it is 4hrs prior to departure)  Has anyone used the luggage storage at the ANC airport or another location in Anchorage?   Was it easy? Was it pricey? Did you feel comfortable?    Trying to make this adventure as smooth as possible as we are novice travelers.  Thank you in advance for any helpful advice.

  2. I have sent an email prior to our sail date to special_needs@rccl.com with our reservation #, room #, name and that my husband uses a CPAP machine and would need distilled water and an extension cord in the past.  They have always responded that these items would be in the room upon arrival. And… they have been there.  Full unopened gallon of distilled water and an extension cord.  No problem at all.

  3. I am no where near someone with any authority on this issue.  But since I am booked on a future cruise that is going to Perfect Day.  I googled the Bahamas COVID travel and found their website.   Looks to me they are requiring testing and in the near future the testing needs to be PCR results.   Not sure if this is the answer to the current situation   Maybe someone smarter than me will have the official answers soon

Hello! I am very excited to start planning our 15th wedding anniversary cruise in May 2023. Does anyone know when itineraries will be released?

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversaries!  I would love to know this as well.  My hubby and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in May 2023.  I have already informed him that we will be on a cruise to celebrate.  ?

Come on new itinerary release!    I want to start planning!

A1/A2 and A3/A4 are 2 completely different classes of suites. A1 and A2 (2 BR ATS) are Star Class suites.  A3 and A4 (1 BR ATS) are Sky Class suites.  The Genie only comes with Star Class.  Star Class comes with both Concierge and Genie while Sky Class has only the Concierge.

Thank you.   Just seems strange to me that the 1 bedroom aqua suite would be star class and not the same as the 2 bedrooms.   But i guess they have to draw the line somewhere.

  6. New to the blog and have been lurking behind all the great posts.   Soaking in all the great stories, info and joking around.  But one thing that I completely do not understand...   what do all the room codes mean.  What’s the difference between an a1 and a2 or a j3 and j4.  So on and so on.   Is there a cheat sheet for a newbie to understand why there is difference in the same room?

On a side note, why does an Aquatheater 1 bedroom not get the genie service and the 2 bedroom does get the genie service? When I look at the room details the 1 bedroom has concierge service listed and the 2 bedroom states Royal Genie.

Thanks you and appreciate any words of wisdom.
