I rec'd the Royal-Up offer on Anthem for Sept. 23rd, about 2 weeks ago. And our friends also. We both bid on 2 room categories. We will see. Did you receive an offer yet?

Agree, you can get a good group discount. A good travel agent can check around for you also.

I usually pick my own balcony because I do not want to be right up in front of ship, or obstructed view, next to elevator, etc. If you do not care where the cabin is, the lower price would work better.

Got it. I see the current itinerary but not old one. But that doesn't matter at this point. That shows Lisbon is back on as a port. Another place it showed no Lisbon. I will just wait and see what happens. I hope they get it sorted out soon. Thanks for your help

What app did you look on? I looked under find a cruise and nothing. On internet. Are you on phone app?

I already have another Europe cruise next Sept. for 2 weeks, on another RC ship. So lift and shift won't work for me. I see all the Anthem cruises are erased now for all of 2021. They must be changing something......

Are you on the Anthem? We are on Anthem the sailing before you, if you are. The itinerary was changed from France, Denmark, etc. to Spain and Portugal ports. When you go to check excursions the itinerary shows that Portugal is now a sea day? I am also confused. I am not sure if it will be cancelled or what? Anyone have any clues or ideas? Nothing to really do but sit and wait and see what happens I guess. Cruise, flights, and hotels are all paid for.

I have shared rooms with other couples, and they got the sofa bed. We paid more for the real bed. But both said the sofa bed was pretty comfortable. I think it would also depend on how new the beds are.

It was only for UK passengers until Aug. 29th. Not sure what will happen after that

Am really curious why Anthem is no longer on Sept schedule. I am on the ship in Sept. and it hasn't been cancelled. Could it be that they have reached passenger limit? Or going to cancel passengers booked from US? Or? Let me know if any of you have cruises then and what happens. I have hotels, airfare, and cruise all paid for at this point. But am somewhat expecting it to be cancelled.

Depends on the ship and what is available. Not all ships have the same restaurants.

As far as I know specialty restaurants are not open for lunch on port days.

You should be able to go to any restaurant as a single person. Enjoy

I drink 1 or 2 acholic drinks per day, and my husband does not drink. We get 5 drinks each, per day, loaded on our SeaPass card and that is more than enough for us. We will use them for juice, coke, or non-acholic slushies. I like we can use these all day long and not just from 5-8pm. I am a happy camper.

I have gotten 2 cruises cancelled due to being chartered out. One I only had about a month notice. The other maybe 2 months notice. I just worked around it as best I could.

I am still waiting for April 2023 transatlantic cruises to be available to book.

Most of my cruises are also too far out to take advantage of their offers. But I get OBC's whenever possible or 10% off. I have always used my own TA and never had any issues with that. Never had to use another agent just to get these offers.

I would say to expect to wear a mask anywhere indoors. If not required, then that is a bonus. I prefer to not wear a mask, but if it is required I will wear one. I do not like to break any rules, whether I agree with it or not. Rules change constantly and I feel they might get more strict with the Delta variant. I have 10 cruises booked and will pay final payment on any that become due. Hoping it will sail. If a cruise gets cancelled I will book another. I can definitely enjoy a cruise whether masked or not.

My next cruise is Sept. But since it is out of Southampton it is too "iffy" still. Hoping . If not, the next one is December B2B. So happy it is getting closer. In Sept. it will be 21 months since I cruised. But have 10 scheduled thru next year.

I check for price drops on a regular basis. I usually have several pending cruises. When I notice a drop I call my travel agent and she takes care of the changes. I have had one rate decrease by $1,500. That is a lot! So, I check at least weekly.

I have not received an invite, but my travel agent in Seattle has.

Too early to decide. I would wait a few weeks and see what happens. Lots of changes could occur by then.
