Wonder of the Seas to Port Everglades

Is any action required? My future cruises on Royal account shows Allure June 5, 2022 as cancelled. I see bookings open September 22nd. I have an A1, I hope I will be switched to the same room and price protected. I got a good price on release day last December. -
Blank Luggage tags can be obtained and new room number hand written at port.

Not sure if this excursion is available given the bacon shortage.

Liberty of the Seas 2021 Spain Drydock Upgrades?
AlmondFarmer replied to Scatmanjack's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Liberty already has them since Longhorns are a requirement to sail out of Texas. -
So when a company is pricing out ships and dates to charter there is a option to award guests with Crown and Anchor points and this carries a fee? If so, is fee based on those sailing who are enrolled in C&A/requesting points or is it for all passengers? Since charters seem to cater to a specific group I would expect the percentage of passengers on a charter who are new to Royal Caribbean to be higher than an average Royal sailing. These questions are curiosity only, I do not have plans to charter Symphony of the seas. Not enough people live in my hometown.

Are suites worth it - Currently
AlmondFarmer replied to jmleedy's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Suites are worth it currently and permanently. If suites are overpriced, they will not be booked and the price will drop. The fanciest suites are often the first to be sold out (limited quantities) so an argument could be made that suites are underpriced. Supply and demand is a magical thing. -

Star Class Question: Royal Up
AlmondFarmer replied to tonyfsu21's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Dos Equis is my favorite beer served by Royal. I brought and will continue to bring a Yeti cooler bag, it holds a twelver with lots of ice. (I use it as carry on during air travel). Put beer and ice in it. We take it to pool also. -

Make a new friend with extra vouchers….like me. -
Port side deck 8 A1 room is my preference. There is a bathroom at elevator area midship on port side. This is convenient if one doubts their ability to hold it on the long walk to the room at the back of the ship.

Alaska pre-planning question...
AlmondFarmer replied to Lovetocruise2002's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I recommend the one way cruises that end or start in Seward. More of Alaska is seen and no retracing back to Seattle. The ships that currently do this are not Quantum class. So big decision between ship newness vs quantity of Alaska seen. My family enjoyed a day in Anchorage and if additional time is available I have heard great things about Denali park. -

It says underway using engine. I surmise that masts and sails were likely not part of any amplification work.- 965 replies

The mistake could have been in the number of crew on board. If one crew member out of 5,000 is unvaccinated this represents exactly 99.98% vaccinated. Also if one crew member out of 2,500 is unvaccinated this could also be 99.98% vaccinated crew if the unvaccinated crew member is a double amputee and counted as .5 person. Following this scenario further one will see that if only 1,250 crew are on board the unvaccinated crew member would be a basket case to have 99.98% vaccinated crew.

Opinions on how to cancel please!
AlmondFarmer replied to Marlena's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
If you haven’t made final payment and want to try for a refund, switch to the cheapest available room (risking least amount of new $ in addition to deposits), make final payment and then wait it out. If you do decide to take trip, upgrade to whatever is available. This would be my strategy.
