@Yesiamthere I don’t know from experience yet but have read multiple reviews of both the 8th and 10th deck GLS and at least for me it looked like quite a few people experienced some bleeding noise from two70. Didn’t seem to be excessive but I think people could interpret volume differently so we felt it best to move up a bit just in case we felt it was too noisy.

@Lovetocruise2002 Lol I couldn’t help myself! The suite looks so beautiful and I feel like we made the right choice moving from deck 8 to deck 10 thanks to multiple recommendations!

Per your recommendation we bought those luggage tags as well and they are perfect!!!

I cannot wait any longer! I am so STARry eyed , that my eyes burn with glee! We are a little over two months away from our first Star Class cruise experience on board the Anthem of the Seas. My husband Rob and I are in the midst of making arrangements for our upcoming dream vacation while simultaneously selling our house and buying a new house around the block lol. Yes we are crazy, but who isn't LOL? I am driving Rob bananas (I always have to sing that Gwen Stefani song in my head when spelling B-A-N-A-N-A-S!) asking him if we received the Star Class questionnaire yet. Rob is the responsible one who checks emails every hour so I am at his Mercy LOL. In the meantime, here is the lowdown of our anniversary cruise thus far: ***P.S. SHOUT OUT to @WAAAYTOOO @Jax @Lovetocruise2002 @CravingaCruise and many others for your guidance and blogs that kept me up till 2 AM too many nights LOL Who: Andrew & Rob What: Anthem of the Seas Star Class Cruise 10 year Wedding Anniversary Celebration! Staying in GLS #10324 When: February 11th, 2022 Where: Who cares? We are going on a cruise lol San Juan, St. Maarten, Labadee (probably will change) & 5 cruising days (We love sea days)!!! I have already made a document of preferences that I have finessed like thirty times so we (me) do not sound completely insane! I have heard good things about both Yen and Jay so we are going to try to request either of them to be our magic Genie! I am looking forward to posting again soon once our questionnaire comes!

Does anyone know if Labadee has been cancelled until further notice due to recent events in Haiti? It is still showing on our itinerary for February but I was curious if anyone had insight on this? Thank you!

This is odd to me. I mean no distancing between machines I kind of understand (the casinos here do not put distance between machines and tables any longer either) but I think that smoking in the casino should not be happening. Im not anti smoking per se, but I think this would be another form of Covid 19 protocol. It is like freely blowing airborne particles in the air. Maybe I am wrong but I am surprised to hear this.

@AshleyDillo Do you feel the Covid protocols have affected your cruise experience at all? Do you feel there are many inconveniences or overall are things as normal as they can be during this time?

@jaullram I agree those emails need to be renamed. I would have a full blown panic attack if I saw that flipping through my inbox! Never heard of the Telehealth test. I will need to keep this in mind for our sailing!

Thank you everyone! Some great ideas here! Is Coastal Kitchen a great option besides filet night to book for multiple dinners? Normally on Royal we have mostly done the specialty dining rooms only because we have not been huge fans of the MDR's offerings on Royal (the food has not always been consistent). @WAAAYTOOO, I have been working with Private Journeys to book an excursion to celebrate our anniversary. While doing so I asked Private Journey's about the Labadee Cabanas (I did mention Barefoot Beach) and she said they were all sold out. I remember you have mentioned the Labadee cabanas for SC before and I figure they may have not release the Cabanas on Barefoot Beach yet.

Good Afternoon Everyone! I have been spending all day looking into all things cruising! Like many of you, I cannot wait to get on board. Had a question for Star Cruisers...When initially emailing your Royal Genie, besides the questionnaire, what other information have you given to your Genie? If needed will the Genie correspond frequently with you before the cruise? Is it crazy of me to have a document prepared with all of our preferences and general information about my husband and I sent upon initial contact? We have some "wish requests" that may not be able to be granted but I want to try because it seems like the Genies do have magical powers lol. I have seen a couple of examples of request/preference sheets but if anyone has more insight on this, I would appreciate it! I do know from my readings that I need to request to be reserved at CK for filet night LOL. Anything else that I should definitely request? I do not want to be imposing from the start, but we do want to form a connection with our Genie and make sure we get the most out of our experience. Thanks! Andrew

I have been reading and re-reading all of the Star Class live blogs that have been written. I am like foaming at the mouth waiting to get on ours LOL! I plan to do my first live blog to when closer!!!

we had 8724 but 10324 came available again so we nabbed it. Like others, I am thankful to @WAAAYTOOO because I very well would have booked a cornerif I didnt see the blog she wrote. That is why I love this blog site. I thought I knew all there is to know about cruising before joining, but boy was I wrong LOL.
