  1. Hi all, At this point, we are travelling to Orlando, spending 2 weeks in Disney and Universal, before travelling to Port Canaveral in September for our Allure cruise (Fingers crossed it happens!) For those of you who have used Port Canaveral before, could you help with the following: Would you suggest travelling to Port Canaveral the day before the cruise, rather than early morning on departure day? If so, why? What are the 'must do' things to do in the area if we come through a day before Any suggestions on close by but budget-friendly hotels? Thanks so much!
  2. Sorry to hear about the cancellations! Let us know once you receive the official notification from RC!
  3. Let's all hope it all goes smoothly and we can have these fabulous cruises go ahead
  4. We're sailing from Port Canaveral in September 2021, hopefully!
  5. We're looking to go to Magan's Bay, and I would prefer to take a cab and making our own way there so we can chill for a few hours, but now with the pandemic I wonder if you will only be allowed to get off the ship with an excursion
  6. We've got a 7 night booked on the Allure in September 2021, and hoping with everything I have that we can go ahead. We got an ocean view balcony for the two of us at a steal and I know we will never see those prices again. And since we will be travelling all the way from South Africa to Orlando, there's a lot to rearrange should we need to. Hoping for the best for everyone's cruising!
  7. It sure is exciting when the new additions pop up, makes it more real!
  8. I'm just so excited, we booked our 7 night September Eastern Caribbean on the Allure recently, but with the cruise cancellations in early 2021 and without excursions shown at the one port, I was worried of what our future cruising would be (or not be). I logged in today (as I do every day) and see that the shore excursions have arrived! Words cannot explain my excitement! It's getting real! In addition, I see that there are on board activities added as well as a calendar view. Is anyone else seeing more additions for your cruises in 2021?
  9. I was surprised (and concerned) to see that there is a rule that guests that have tested positive in the last 180 days will not be permitted to sail - 180 days is a decent amount of time, and certainly enough time to recover and (hopefully) fit as a fiddle. I'm due to sail from Orlando in 291 days and I couldn't help but worry about "what if I test positive within the 180 period" but recover long before the cruise day?! Also, I'll be flying from Cape Town, South Africa, all the way to Orlando USA, so lots of potential exposure.
