I had a similar issue for my upcoming cruise.  I booked WiFi for one device during BF sales for $13.99/day.  It showed that I could buy it for an additional device for $11.99/day.  About 2 months later, my roommate decided she wanted to get it.  This offer was still showing on my purchase history page, but when I clicked on it,  the offer was for $19.99/day.  I called RCL customer service and the agent had me send him a screen shot that also showed the current date and time.  He called me back the next morning and told me that his manager did an override in order to give us that $11.99 price because it was clearly offered and RCL honored it.

It is also possible the online offer is incorrect, which is why the CC transaction didn't go through.  It could be that $50 is the correct amount for a short cruise, even online.  But if that is the case, Royal should be able to fix the glitch.

If they won't honor your $100 OBC, for the last attempt you may send email to RC CEO.
The email address is [email protected]
I got my airplane ticket reimbursement after send an email to him.
I tried send email (three times) to regular channel before, no real respond, just automated one.

take those screenshots of the OBC offer and try messaging them on Twitter.  See if they can help you get the correct amount.

As someone from a country where tipping isn't the norm, it gives me a little anxiety whenever I'm tipping. Am I tipping too much, or worse, too little? I feel like the staff are in the back scowling because we short changed them.

I got my first contact with the Genie around 1 month before the sailing. The pre cruise survey around 10 days before that

A first time for us - we were the first family embarking Quantum of the Seas on 1 Nov!  Below is pic of land Genie escorting my son to the gangway.

However, it was pouring torrentially (it’s monsoon season in Singapore). So off to Coastal Kitchen for lunch, followed by a quick tour of the ship, then some bumper car action & dinner at Wonderland (will post that later).

Our Genie Eli also booked the Sequins & Feathers show for us on Day 1

Dinner at Wonderland on Day 1 - the waiter John from Philippines was quite engaging. Appended the food and drinks menu below. Took the branzino & Helios in the sand as he recommended and I was not disappointed.

liquid lobster (sea) & sashimi of tuna (ice)

Started Day 2 with a short gym visit. First time visiting the gym on-board - nice view but no Vitality Cafe in this gym

We had breakfast in suite, ordered in from CK. Too much food honestly even though I thought I was quite specific in ordered 1 x Danish (in my mind it’s 1 piece, to the kitchen it’s 1 portion). We were also missing the table cloth but we were too hungry to wait.

After breakfast, we went to the helipad at the front of the ship to take some photos. We missed the rain by a little bit! I retreated to the spa for a massage whilst the boys had some fun at the SeaPlex.

Day 2 lunch was at Chops Grille. Hubby wanted to order lobster but it was not on the lunch menu. Nonetheless, he tried his luck and they surprised him with 2 portions.

So we all tested negative and it’s one more sleep to sailing. The boys are packed, I’m kinda packed, except for the clothes 🤣

Sharing the shows & timings for reference

Thanks @WAAAYTOOOand @LogicallyLazy. I have asked for breakfast in suite on Day 2 and may ask for more meals in suite depending on how the rest thinks.
I have also put in a bid for RoyalUp to a Royal Loft Suite but the chances are slim as I saw that all suites were sold out.

5 more sleeps to embarkation day and we’ve not started packing 🤭

The food is definitely colder compared to eating at the restaurant. I think it really depends on how much the food experience matters to you.

Especially for Wonderland, I think one of the main things is the experience you get in the restaurant.

For room service, the food also all arrives at once, so you don’t get the courses spaced out.

I wear a few different pairs of specs and depending on their design, I will either get fogging or not regardless of if I put the nose bridge over the top of the mask.

A little tip if you can’t get your glasses to stop fogging. Get a small piece of tissue paper and fold it into a thin strip. Place it under your mask just below your nose bridge. It almost always eliminates fogging.

It is a little troublesome whenever you take off your mask, but it was something we learnt at work since we have to wear one all day.

Terminal check in in 4 hours!!!
Last min packing happening now while the kids are in school..haha they both refused breakfast this morning, telling me that they are saving space for their massive lunch 😜
Final schedule was confirmed with our Genie yesterday at 230pm 😱 that's living life dangerously for me hahah
embarkation lunch will be at Coastal Kitchen today...n dinner at Chops..the temptation to get a steak will be very real at CK later but 2 steaks in 1 day...do I dare? Haha..
I will probably post mainly photos as we go along (promised the kids my full attention) and round up the night with a write up if I'm not in a food coma yet 😴

Oh, I didn’t know there was an antigen test at the terminal now.

In other news, super excited for you. Sad that the seafood tower is gone though. ?

I personally have never seen a no tipping sign here. Tipping itself is getting slightly more common with ride hailing and food delivery apps becoming the norm. Whenever its raining (which is quite often) we tend to tip them just for the slight inconvenience it causes them, but of course it's not expected. And yeah, with ride hailing apps, flagging a taxi down is now a thing of the past lol
