  1. This isn't true, but if you want to the form is here https://rccl.secure.force.com/directtransfers/DTTRoyal
  2. The process is generally simple- sometimes it takes 2 days, sometimes all 7 (I'm waiting on one now that has been 7 and is not complete for some reason). But the TA never gets the notification, the guest does, but the TA does not. What I personally do is initiate the transfer, and then set a calendar reminder for 2 days later. If it's not there, then I move that reminder until the next day. Your TA can check it manually if it's there.
  3. If her cruise was for May 2022 then it's not covered under CWC. So this is correct.
  4. I stayed at the Hilton a few years ago for several days and loved it. We had a great view of the drawbridge and it was very convenient. I don't know about parking but it was a nice location for sure.
  5. Plus in a lot of cases you can't use them with your travel agent.
  6. Yes, just contact the insurance company and update the price, cruise line, and dates.
  7. It may show up on the invoice, but sometimes the codes aren't clear. But I've checked the one reservation of yours that I already have and I don't see a further discount. I'll check the other one when it's in my hands.
  8. Here are my thoughts on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale for the cruise fares themselves- They aren't good. I checked all of my clients' reservations, and only about 10 saved. That's not a great deal of savings. But, it seems like the cruise planner is where the sales really are, so I hope everyone get some good deals there!
  9. This year's Black Friday sale runs Nov 24-30, which is good so we can spend the holiday with family.
  10. That's correct, 30 days, and not paid in full.
  11. You have to call in or have your TA do it. Anything over 4 people requires two reservation numbers. You can hold it for 4 people and then call in for the rest.
  12. I like champagne at sail away, at least on embarkation day. I don't drink hard liquor/ mixed drinks so I usually have a glass of wine or champagne.
  13. Yes it was a recent change. Within a few months.
  14. Disney Cruise Line does the rails, I would assume Royal does too.
  15. In most cases the FCC can be applied immediately. However, this is not true in all cases, because Royal Caribbean is not great with some of the FCC issues. That being said I would apply it at least a week prior to the due date because if there are issues you'll know about it and can call Royal and get it fixed.
  16. If you booked with a travel agent we can escalate that. If you booked direct I don't know who you can call, but I would recommend calling in and asking for a full accounting report, and ask for the dates they were supposedly refunded and the amounts, and the last 4 digits of the card that it went to. That will give you a little more to go on.
  17. This is why I back up the final payment a few days for everyone- you never know if something might happen to your card and we have to scramble at the last minute. As a TA, I prefer it if people don't pay early. The accounting if there is a price drop is a mess.
  18. That's the trade off. Money vs. service. I hope you can get it fixed to your satisfaction though.
  19. And technically you're paying for a Travel Agent's services anyway, since the price is the same to you and we're paid from Royal Caribbean.
  20. I do believe you'd still qualify if it was booked before Sept 30.
  21. You're correct, but when travel essentially shuts down...
  22. Yeah they word it "non-refundable OBC" to mean that if you don't use it they won't pay you for it at the end of your cruise. A lot of people have had some great OBCs with this program and I hope they keep it!
