  2. ok so I only see the C&A number to enter is after you booked your room and putting in the people who are cruising. Is that the correct spot? BTW TY to everyone who replied.
  3. We are diamond and not seeing any difference between Suite and Balcony prices between being logged in, and going in without being logged in, both prices are exactly the same. Is there some special things you need to do or is this not available right now during the restart?
  4. Does the Diamond perk only hit after the cruise you are on concludes like most of the levels? For Example, my next cruise I will become Diamond on the second day of an 8 day cruise, I know I should get the block on that day but do the perks kick in too?
  5. Are we not back to the fact that with cruising you take on the risk of things happening, how is this any different. Nothing is perfect, some cruises feel perfect but some are not. Are we just in a phase now that is if the cruise is not perfect they should cancel or stop cruising until everything is perfect. Good luck with hat especially during hurricane season in the Caribbean.
  6. I am taking this as serious as "Quarantine for 2 weeks to lessen the curve". So on the other hand the vaccination is not a real vaccination per se, it is more like a cough drop, it will prevent the symptoms but will not stop you from getting or spreading the virus. But once you have had it you should have Immunity per science prior to Covid which people like the CRC are not remembering. So where does this leave us, same as prior to Covid, when you go on a cruise you take an inherent risk of everything a cruise could possibly cause. You might break a leg, net the norovirus, slip and fall or now get Covid.
  7. We bought 6, we used 2 for our cruise in September and all worked well. We went to use another for our cruise in November and got Inconclusive, the test never registered. We were contacted by Emed and they sent us a replacement, the weird things is they sent us 6 more, but now they are all going to expire before our cruise in April. The new ones will expire their 12 month expiration in March, you would think they would have sent new ones, Guess they have a crap load of expiring soon. Look at the EXP and MFG dates when you get yours and I do agree get a couple extra just in case.
  8. @CHRIS WONG, any numbers yet on the 15th cruise? I head the Prime Minster will be onboard, any chance Richard Fain will be onboard too to accompany him?
  9. ok that is one of the 2 day cruises for Media, there is a small but close knit group of us going on the 15th, so se are all curious about the count for that cruise.

  11. @CHRIS WONG do you have any estimates on the passenger count for 11/15 Odyssey Cruise, or is this too early?
  12. I am on the November 15th cruise of Odyssey of the seas and we still have not gotten any letter or notification that our port of call to Labadee has changed. The cruise is 31 days out and I have seen cruises in December get another sea day or port day and not go to Labadee. I am not sure why RC is dragging their feet in sending us notification that we will get another sea day or port day. It is only a 5 night cruise so we only had 2 stops, Coco Cay and Labadee, so I am wondering if they are trying to find another port, heck I would be happy with 2 Coco Cay stops.
  13. I have done this various ways. Booked online or Booked thru Next Cruise, then transferred to Amex Travel and then got the perks. As long as Amex Travel is the travel agent you should get the perks. But you must have Amex Platinum to get the OBC and Champaign/Wine.

  17. Most of the time Royal's left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and people on the phone are reacting to what has not been informed to them correctly. First TA, use them to negotiate this landmine as they have more clout then just a single person. Second do not trust anything RC tell you on the phone unless you see it in writing. Part of the cancelation email you got was to move to another Allure cruise at the same rate for the same type of room, I know I was one of the people on the Allure Easter cruise. We moved to the Aprill 22nd cruise while others moved to the April 30th cruise. If you talk to RC they will try to move you to another ship and you will pay an increased fair, I was quoted an increase of almost $5k to move to Wonder or Symphony to keep the room class I have. And BTW RC will never cancel or change a cruise while a sale is going on.

  19. we went to Nassau last month and seeing it was a Sunday nothing was open except the beaches, a couple stores opened up after 1pm but not much.

From what I heard onboard each ship has a gradual increase of occupancy till the end of the year, that does not mean there will be that many passengers as dates and circumstance will actually dictate bookings. I am not sure if they will just flip the switch next year back to 100% available occupancy or not.
