  1. I assume you mean Dec. 29, 2023 to Jan. 2, 2024? My family is on this cruise. This is a newer tradition for us. We sailed last NYE out of Tampa and had a blast! We travel with a group called Autism on the Seas, who helps support families and guests who have special needs. Look for our volunteer helpers in orange shirts and say hi! I also paired this cruise with a B2B for Jan. 2-5, 2024 with just my youngest so we can have some special mom and child time together! I started a thread for this cruise a while back:
  2. Blue Lagoon is a good option if you like beaches. The boat to Blue Lagoon takes about 30-40 minutes each way. Food is meh. There are a lot of animal excursions there (dolphins, stingrays, etc.) so you may find a lot more kids/families, but in general, it is a nice beach.
  3. I am booked on this cruise with a good friend of mine. A group from Autism on the Seas will also be on this cruise; keep a lookout for people in orange shirts and those who are differently abled. I have the pleasure of leaving my differently abled kiddos at home for this cruise. Never been to St. Kitts/Nevin and looking forward to it. Also never been on Harmony of the Seas (but have been on Oasis and Symphony).
  4. I did this privately and it was amazing! Highly recommend! The river tubing is pretty calm. If your adventurous (and good swimming teen) can climb up to Blue Hole, then the jump from the top is quite a thrill!
  5. The website was updated this morning showing excursions in Bar. The app has not yet been updated.
  6. Hello! I have searched the RCL website, but can't find the answer to what I think is a basic question. Are you allowed to leave a teen (i.e. 13-17) on a RCL ship while in port? More specifically, our 16 year old prefers to stay on the ship and the rest of our family prefers walking around in port. Can we leave them on board? I appreciate you responses to the question and prefer to leave the controversy out I realize this could become heated as to whether or not this should be done, but that is not the question. Thanks in advance!
  7. I read Bar has a unique beer - Pomegranate Beer.
  8. The cruise is 6/25/2023. We were notified today.
  9. I am seeing some options are to visit the old town and the oldest olive tree. There is also a Lake where there are many species of birds.
  10. Hi Cruisers! I am on the June 25 sailing, but am wondering what the MDR menu will be on Day 5 of your cruise. Can someone let me know? Thanks!
  11. Hi Cruisers! I am on the June 25 sailing, but am wondering what the MDR menu will be on Day 5 (Mykonos) of your cruise. Can someone let me know? Thanks!
  12. My child and I booked this a couple of months back and are sailing with another mother/daughter duo. I've never been on the Navigator and never sailed out of LA so I am looking forward to the "newness" of those things.
  13. It is getting closer! Does everyone have their plans all set and complete at this point?
  14. Did anyone notice that Koror looks to have been removed as a port stop and replaced with a sea day on the RCL app?
  15. Look for the large group that will be in orange at the back of the windjammer for breakfast and lunch and introduce yourself!
  16. We've been to Nassau a lot and are a little tired of it. Our group is thinking of either doing nothing but relaxing on the ship, going out for a quick excursion or lunch, and straw market trip. I gave give you ideas depending on your interests.
  17. We are booked! I am part of a group of mom's who have special needs children and this is our weekend get-a-way!
  18. We booked this while on the ship for our 2022 NYE cruise. We loved it so much we decided to book 2023 NYE. Maybe this will be a new tradition for us! We are sailing with an organization called Autism on the Seas, who provide support to families travelling with guests who have special needs (all ages).
  19. A little bummed about the port time changes. I adjusted our excursions this past week and now everything is set once again. I am getting very excited for this cruise!
  20. Voyagers: Adventure, Explorer (next June) Freedom: Freedom Oasis: Oasis, Symphony, Harmony (next Sept) Quantum: Odyssey, Anthem Vision: NONE Radiance: Brilliance (in two weeks) 6 so far but 3 new ships for me next year!
  21. Famous quotes from our cruise that kept us laughing… I only eat the tops. I don’t like bottoms. - Said by A when talking about muffins. I like the cream. I don’t like fingers. - Said by me when eating tiramisu at dinner. To say we had fun is an understatement. We laughed, we relaxed, we tuned out. I feel refreshed and ready to see my husband and kids, whom I adore and miss. This mom and wife was desperately seeking suite freedom and certainly found it. Thanks for reading along.
  22. Day 4 - Nassau We both have been to Nassau too many times. However, neither of us have ever been to Blue Lagoon. I will tell you it was ok because there were not a ton of people or kids there. It was a once and done for us. Not something I would do again and glad I did it once. We got back to the ship, got ready for dinner, headed to the Suite lounge to say goodbye to George, the best beverage guy and Christian’s, the concierge. We had been trying to book the Fri to Mon cruise and stay a bit longer, but the ship was fully booked! Donner was nice as well since the bare chested guy wasn’t there and didn’t come until we we were eating our dessert and he did have a tshirt on at least. The lady he was with looked like she was in her pajamas and a night head scarf. We got the hot tub before retiring for the evening. We ate our final breakfast in Chops this morning. This is the best perk of sailing suite class on this ship IMO. We walked off around 9am and now I am sitting in the Admirals club until my flight. A said from now on, we are getting away with 7-9 day sailings only! I love my friend and travel buddy!
