  1. UPDATE May 28: Received the remaining amount. 30 days after last call (April 27). Full refund is completed.
  2. The cruise (03/15) was cancelled and I submitted the refund form on 03/19 April 4: Received email of "Cruise Planner Cancellation Summary" April 24: Nothing was received. Called and was told the refund process started on April 4, so the refund was expected to be done by May 4. April 27: Received the refund on the CC. But, only 89% of what I paid. The remaining amount does NOT match the amount of any tax/fees or purchasing. Called. The CSR checked and confirmed it's not full refund, but she did not know the reason. Waited for around 15 minutes, then she told me a new refund request (for the remaining amount) was submitted, and the waiting time is another 30-45 days.
  3. I cancelled the cruise on March 9 with costco travel (cruise was on March 14). Received the cancellation confirmation email from costco travel immediately. However, still no FCC, no refund on taxes/fees until today April 24, which is 46 days after the cancellation. Who should I call? CostcoTravel or RCCL?
  4. Finger crossed. Our cruise was scheduled on 03/15. On 03/09 Monday, called costcotravel to cancel and received the cancellation email from costcotravel. On 03/10, received email from RCCL for "ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS", which did not mention cancellation. Only informed something about travel regulations. But, when login https://www.royalcaribbean.com/account/, it always showed "You have 1 upcoming cruise". I called RCCL directly on 03/12. The CSR told me that the cancellation was processed on the back-end (not sure how it works). On 03/13, received email from RCCL which indicated "Regrettably, we will need to cancel your upcoming Oasis of the Seas March 15, 2020 cruise. Our goal is to resume operation on April 11th, 2020” and "As a result of this change, we’re providing you with a 125% Future Cruise Credit to come back and sail with us by December 31, 2021". Again, until today, when login, it still showed "You have 1 upcoming cruise". So I am not sure if the cancellation went through before the 125% FCC policy was kicked in.
  5. Thanks. I know how much the FCC is. My question is, in my next cruise, how much is each adult.guest's cruise fare, after the kid sail free promotion?
  6. Thanks for such quick and helpful answer. In the example I put above, I know I cannot apply my kid's FCC because "kid sail free". So how much is two adults' cruise fare in above example? It's obviously not $3479 for each, but how much is it?
  7. Hello, I know lots of questions about FCC were asked here, but I could not find a similar one like mine. Thanks for your help in advance! According to my understanding, the FCC is issued for EACH guest, not for a family (please correct me if there is misunderstanding). Assuming the FCC received for each guest in my family is: Adult 1: $1500 Adult 2: $1500 Kid: $700 That is, the total FCC for my family is $3700. As indicated, the future cruise that I select has kids sail free promotion. The summary shows: 3 Guests $7,697.00 Free Kids NRD -$2,827.00 Subtotal: $4,870.00 Taxes & Fees: $255.00 Total For Room (after discounts): $5,125.00 I click the "Pricing by Guest", it shows: Guest 1 Taxes & Fees $85.00 Cruise Fare $3,479.00 Guest 2 Taxes & Fees $85.00 Cruise Fare $3,479.00 Guest 3 Taxes & Fees $85.00 Cruise Fare $739.00 Discounts & Credits Free Kids NRD $2,827.00 Average cost per person $1,708.33 ======== I try to understand how the FCC will be used in this situation. 1) Will the FCC $3700 be used to against the total cruise fare $4870? 2) Or will the FCC for each guest be used to against the cruise fare for each guest? However, in this situation, "Kid sail free" promotion makes the cruise fare for each guest is unclear. Can somebody help me to understand how it works? Thanks a lot!!
  8. Same here. Cancelled Monday morning, still waiting for FCC email from RCL. Question: When you login the https://www.royalcaribbean.com/account/ site, do you still see the cruise info like "You have 1 upcoming cruise", or the cruise was removed already? I still see it's there. Thanks.
  9. Realized that your next cruise is on August 2?. If the cruise that I booked is in August, I definitely will not cancel it NOW. But mine is next week...? Wish everything will be fine on/after June.
  10. @WAAAYTOOO@PurdueFlyer@AshleyDillo Thanks for your answers and help! I called Costco Travel then Shore Excursions in the morning, here are the outputs: 1) Taxes and fees will be refunded; Cruise charge will be FCC. RCL will send me an email about the FCC, and I can use it with any agents or RCL directly (of course, Costco Travel's agent said they expected me to book with them?). Cancellation email from Costco was received. Waiting for email from RCL about FCC. 2) I also booked excursions via Shore Excursions group (Costco Travel's Partner). Had to call them directly, because Costco Travel's agent could not access the excursions. No hassle, they cancelled and will refund (email was received immediately), although the excursions are within 14 days. My family looked forward to the trip next week (Oasis, hhhhh????), but had to press the STOP button. I think 90% or 99% the trip will be fine, but we just cannot take the risk because of the vulnerability of elders and kids in the family. Oh, the only "complaint" is the waiting time. I was on the call for 2-hour 16-minutes!! then finally spoke to the agent.?
  11. I booked the cruise via Costco Travel. So if I decide to cancel it (based on new policy, I will get the FCC), should I call Costco Travel or call the Cruise support line? Another question: If I get the FCC, will it be associated with the agency (Costco Travel)? That is, in the future, if I want to book cruise, do I must use Costco Travel or can I book it on RCL site directly? Thanks!
