I have done the Castia a couple of times on Oasis and will be doing it on the Symphony in August. Go the first day you get on ship (16) to see where they are located and choose what works best for you They will write your name on a sheet with your location. If not sold out on the day you want, you can change. With the sun changing, I ended up switching on the day with getting sun only a few hours. On Oasis there was none with ocean view. There are some together, and there are some near stairs. We choose close to bar area and stairs. There was a button to press for staff but we have never needed to use it as they could always see us and were very attentive so we enjoyed being closer to bar. We did get an unexpected fruit platter while there both times we have used it. There is water on ice for your enjoyment as well. We enjoy it. I purchase when it’s on sale. For us not a necessity but nice not to have to look for seats and we use it for many hours and about the whole time. It seats two so we usually get a chair next to us that is outside the Casita for my son if he comes

Last year, on Oasis, we ended up changing ours so we can be protected by sun. It would have been beating down on us for too long. Same location and place the year prior, we had shade so you never know. Only reason we could switch and try time the sun location was because we had it on a port day and some were available. The sun chairs where available if you wanted sun but again, it was a port day so made the difference with availability.

I have 7 offers as well which I never I never had as many offers before. I book about 1 or 2 a year and just became Diamond. Didn’t know if that made any difference.

Thank You! I didn’t realize I would be getting so many casino comps since I’m only Choice. I was Prime before but that expired. And of course they started coming and the exact one I wanted right after I booked!

I received a casino royale offer for same cruise I’m already booked on…I called and can get a rate that is cheaper than my already booked cruise..I would have to cancel my booking first to get the offer and was wondering if that is tricky since the rates change so much when you call back. I could chance cancelling and then when I call back, it being a rate that is not worth it. Has anyone had experience with this? I have never used a casino comp and of course, I am now receiving many now that I’m booked.

It depends on the day. I booked one previous year that did not have sun and then this past year it did on same cruise. I like the ones closest to Lime & Coconut as it seemed less foot traffic but that’s a personal choice. An added bonus is they were right there to ask us what we needed.

We used the detachable and extendable combo lanyards below so we didn’t have to remove from neck for drinks and can stretch to open room ( even though didn’t need the stretch as it reached the door) We also have the WOW bands which we reprogram when we get onboard. Sometimes one works better than the other, like when we take photos. Somehow forget to take our WOW bands off and don’t like them in some of our photos.

This is the question I asked recently and that is what I believe I will try next as a new Diamond member. Get one DBP and one refreshment package and one of us use the 8 vouchers to see how that goes.

So if I wanted to get one UDP, I would need to get a refreshment package for my husband and my son.. will have to see if that balances out with the vouchers. It will be first time using vouchers so I appreciate your help. We were always use to getting the UDP for both of us.

Can I buy one Unlimited Drink Package (calling Royal) and have my spouse use my 4 Diamond drink vouchers , totaling 8 a day on his end?

When I picked all the ones I wanted from the kiosk, on my app they showed up right away without the watermark before I received the link. This way I could download it myself by saving each image manually. Then a few hours later I received the link. This is a new way to do it with the app so not sure if this is the norm but it worked for me.

On my August cruise, I saw my photos on the app a few hours to a day after they were taken, which is a new feature I enjoyed. Then the 6th day when I was done, went to kiosk and picked my 100 digitals. I then started downloading individually all my photos as a download (save image) just in case I didn’t receive my link from them. I actually received the link the 7th day leaving the cruise.
