  1. On Adventure last May and thought the ship was fine. Our problem was cabin location, right next to where they bus dishes they retrieve from room service. As early birds in our room by 10pm, we heard the clanking of dishes until 11pm. I poked my head out once and the crewman doing it said "oh, sorry" then continued on making loud noise after I went back in my room. Guest Services said they'd address it and it was better for one night then back to sounding like we were bunking in the dishwashing area in the galley. The smell of smoke penetrates up from the casino...some days worse than others. Also forgetting what side of the ship you're on and walking down the pool deck and into the smoking section sucks. I've had these problems on more than one ship in the fleet though. Overall Adventure was fine for us in 2018 and recently this May. We'd sail her again.
  2. The announcement has been slightly delayed due to the passing of the Queen. The announcement was supposed to be made onboard Oasis of the Seas, currently sailing from Bayonne (NY) area.
  3. I was on this same cruise! We actually weren't asked any questions about health at all. So our check-in person was slacking!
  4. I recommend at least 100,000 for Caribbean island evacs to Miami or FLL.
  5. Hi. I know this is a really old message (almost 3 yrs!) but since these ships are unchanged, I tried the formula of looking at the deck plan, finding the adjoining rooms, and considering the cabin on the right when facing the doors to have its bed nearest the slider. I counted up one pair of cabins and summarized that my room would have a bed by the slider. But, our cabin layout had the bed by the bath/closet. Look at the deck plan of the deck you are on. Anthem of the Seas Deck 7, Port side fwd Find the nearest set of connected staterooms (you will know them by the set of double arrows, indicating connecting rooms) 7138+7136 Picture yourself in the HALLWAY looking at the cabin doors 7136 on my right The cabin on the right (of the "set" of connecting rooms) will have the bed by the balcony. The cabin on the left has the bed by the closets. backwards Then alternate (balcony, closet, balcony, closet) until you get to your room and that is where your bed will be placed. Alternate to 7132. 7132 has bed by bathroom Perhaps this formula doesn't work on Quantum class ships? Anyway it was not an issue for us but wanted to mention it in case others are using this method to count bedrooms on Anthem.
