I wonder if there still will be chair hogs on these sailings.

The good news is at least for a while I anticipate any future cruises to be less expensive so it may be a wash.

I know this is premature, and that we're in uncharted waters, but what traditionally happened with OBC when the line cancels a cruise? I have 300 in OBC I put toward the booze package. Does that go poof? I know I'll get the cash I paid back.

#stillgoing but my cruise sails this Sunday and I'm terrified RCCL may end up hitting the panic button, most likely while I'm en route.

Just reporting back. On holld a little over two hours. There's nothing above my current category (junior suite) but it does sound like there are some opportunities to upgrade from a lower category to a Jr Suite if anyone happens to be going on the Empress this Sunday ?

I guess I will stay on hold ? 1 hour and counting ?

I'm posting this to entertain myself while I'm on hold with RCCL. If a cabin category is shown as sold out on the website, does that also mean it wouldn't be available to upgrade to when calling in? The same class is still listed in the 453403 Royal Up emails they've sent me so it seems like those rooms wouldn't be sold out.

Last year I was sent a survey from RCCL where it looked like they were floating the idea of a pirates themed (and most likely extra charge) sort of family amusement area. Sure it's one of several concepts under consideration, but it looks cool. I'm not sure if the weird animosity between CC and this site goes both ways, but my thread over there is at https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2685673-survey-from-rccl-re-pirates-on-labadee/?tab=comments#comment-58062087 If that sort of thing is not allowed, let me know and I can host the image somewhere else. I'm just feeling lazy right now :)
