  1. Two ships (seems it would be a Carnival ship and Grandeur) are being allowed to dock and disembark passengers and that's all.
  2. Evidently no one on our sailing that planned on the Beach Club is cancelling - the price went up to $250 pp instead of $199 (and it's previous low of ~50). To answer for us, though - we will be on it if they let us (April 4th on Symphony). Seeing all of these other cruise lines suspend operations really makes me wonder if we'll be given the opportunity, though.
  3. If the cruise is far enough out and the "young ladies" are old enough, you can change passengers ahead of time (you just need to keep one adult that was originally on the cabin in the cabin). But you don't need to "switch" (if the young ladies are kids or you're close to sailing), you can get two extra keys for the two young ladies moving to room C and an extra key for whichever room the other mom is going to crash in. Just bring the involved parties to Guest Services.
  4. Sounds like a great price, our waterpark tickets are $125 and the cabana is $1300. Or it would be if it wasn't sold out.
  5. I've only seen the 2+ option for the Chill Island and South Beach cabanas, not the waterpark or beach club (which makes sense, as that $50 is less than the entry fee).
  6. Oh, I should note that you only book the cabana for one person - otherwise it will try to charge you for six cabanas.
  7. I think I need the lessons, I don't even know what game you're talking about. ?
  8. From the description, you will go to the same classes (says to check compasses for times) - were they historically subject to a fee? This says it includes $25 in casino credit and two drink vouchers (I guess that's where they get the $45 value).
  9. It does make sense. If they think they can move and refill X number of down-channel cabins (interior and whatnot) and they offered enough balconies opportunities they might not have needed to worry about moving you around. It could also have to do with the number of people in your cabin, your muster station, your dining time, etc. Who knows.
  10. Did you book directly or with a TA? Someone else mentioned that some agencies are excluded (or opt out) of the Royal Up program.
  11. Ugh, we can't even book the escape room for our April 4 Symphony sailing. I'm this || close to signing up for the sushi class just to have something on my calendar. edit: Well, still no escape room, but we do have these Casino Royale opportunities now.
  12. The only weird thing about this is that Junior Suites are more expensive than the Grand Suite. The Grand Suite is not free, it's just the basis for comparison for Expedia (so it's whatever price you clicked through on plus $0). If you started with Junior Suite, it would be -$395 to go to a Grand Suite. I do agree that it is strange, though - they must have hit some strange threshold where they want to get rid of the Grand Suite but not the Junior Suite.
  13. I'm going to go with perfectly normal on the document, but what does your account page say? We are traveling with two families with guarantee rooms, one in balcony, one in an inside and it specified which on their account page (our cruises are linked).
  14. Yes, you should definitely have parties from both rooms at Guest Services when you request key copies.
  15. Guest services can do that for you on the ship.
  16. I have six or so - they're all pending. If you click on the "Pending" it should bring you to that specific bid where you can then modify/cancel. At least, that's how it works for me.
  17. No benefit other than you'll be done with it.
  18. I wish this topic was Deluxe Beverage for 1$ instead - new intern please.
  19. So what happens when they get to the magic number of cases for the US? Start restricting states, shut everything down, or just sign a waiver accepting coronavirus risk?
  20. You probably want to pick one. The Beach Club is to relax and be a little less crowded (and get upgraded food), the water park for slides and activities. Trying to do both (IMO) would just result in not enjoying either fully.
  21. I wonder what it was before. Personally I didn't care for Corona long before COVID-19. Unless it was upside-down in a margarita.
  22. I still think the genie is looking for ?. If someone said to me that they wanted a soft pretzel, that's what I'd be thinking of. Now I want a pretzel, with salt and cheese dip.
  23. Have you tried decoding the barcode in your edocs' setsail pass? We're over a month out and while the families with us haven't "officially" received their assignments, their barcodes revealed their rooms. I think they don't spell it out to reduce the number of people calling to swap rooms around.
