  1. We had window view of CP (deck 9) on Oasis in Feb. We loved the view and agreed a balcony would be so nice. Evenings have beautiful music and soft lighting. We met a lovely couple and they cruise regularly on Oasis class and get a CP balcony every time (Deck 10 usually). Close enough to deck 8 to people watch! That is what we plan to do when the opportunity arrives.
  2. Park Cafe is so close to your room (and bathroom! ha!). We loved going for a quick bite down here (and it was literally seconds away!). That will be fun to change up the scenery each week.
  3. Yes, Dennis is the cruise director for Oasis right now. We just got off yesterday. Wow, that guy has soooo much energy! It appears he loves his job alot!
  4. We just were in 9183 last week on Oasis. We enjoyed having the daylight! Of course, Central Park is nice to look at too. We would definitely consider booking those rooms again in the future. Similar to interior pricing, but the window is nice. Plus deck 9 was in the middle of everything and easy to get places quickly!
  5. Thank you for everyone’s advice. We contacted our TA and he got us back to early dining. Based on info we’ve read, traditional dining seems to be a good fit for us first timers.....dining scheduled for us and we just go. We will definitely try MTD in the future.
  6. When we booked our cruise (my husband and I and our FIRST cruise!!!!!) in December, we were given early traditional dining time and put on wait list for MTD. Our cruise is Feb 16th (Oasis) and I just saw this week that we have MTD now. However, online to book reservations, the only times available are 8:30, 9p or later. I had booked our shows based on the 5:30 dining time originally given. So, now a few coincide with the only dinner times available to reserve. We don’t want to eat at 8:30p. Way to late for us. So, do we risk no reservations and just call them in each day in advance? (Read some positive conversations about that here) Or do we call Royal Caribbean and try to get the 5:30 dining back? Or do we show up early to MTD with no reservations and wait for them to get us in? Again, first cruise and we are doing our best to learn all the ropes before we go! Thank you!!!
