  1. At the end of summer 2022, we were on a Norway fjords cruise on Jewel of the Seas. Two nights, captain made annoncement in cabins in order us to see Northern Lights, even if they were not big. Thanks to him !
  2. I was on the Explorer in May, room 7566. I confirm : this is crew area : storage, stairs and elevators. Housekeeping use them to come in the corridors every day. It is closed during the whole cruise, expected the first afternoon and the last night, as luggages are transported trough this area.
  3. I cruised twice at Dubrovnik. Cruise ships dock at Gruz. You can usually exit the ship, like any other port of call, around 30 minutes after ship arrival.
  4. I was on B2B on May 21st 2023, aboard Explorer of the Seas. I was able to use 4 vouchers before disembarking, and 4 vouchers after embarking.
  5. Thank you very much for all your B2B informations and advices ! We will check at Guest Service during the first cruise, yes.
  6. Hello, I take this B2B thread opportunity to ask if it is possible to get of the ship early on a B2B cruise (such as 7am, in order to visit the city) and come back by noon ? It should not be a worry for customs as we are outside the ship from 9am to 11am (which is the window they want everybody out), but is it a problem for the company^, regarding the 9am meeting for B2B cruisers ? Thanks
  7. I've cruised in Mediterranean Sea with Royal, Norwegian and Princess. We found service similar on RCL and Princess, but disappointing on Norwegian. NCL also once missed a port on the morning, speaking about weather security when another company cruise ship docked the whole day, and NCL never refunded us port taxes (RCL missed a port in a different area and refunded us port taxes). About the itinerary, my advice would be to pay attention to the length of the stops : in Mediterranean Sea, ships frequently dock only for the morning or the afternoon. If you do want to explore one specific stop, be sure that you will have enough time to.
  8. Thanks dswallow, but no particular cruise in mind at the moment. Just interested as cruises will more and more start again. Thank you also dv70, a great resource indeed.
  9. Hello dswallow, Your informations are very interesting. On which website can i find this graphs, for other cruises i may study or book ? Thanks
  10. For our Odyssey of the Seas 2021 cancelled cruise, it will take a very long time for us to get the Lift and Shift, and eventually never happen. RC sent us the email offering us the 3 options resulting of the cancellation. We choose the L&S. The TA confirmed us that our choice of new cruise was eligible and informed RC. But then, RC refused our L&S choice, because they "suddently" discovered that our fare was not eligible. Despite their original mail and the confirmation of the TA... So, be careful with the RC L&S, all the more so if your original price was a good deal and if the price of your new cruise is a lot higer...
  11. Hello, Waiting for our cruise in January in Middle East, I’m working on visits and how to get to the cities. We didn’t find any interesting excursion for us in Doha and Bahrain. So, i’m wondering how is it possible to exit the port and catch the cities-center by ourselves. As anyone already travel there with a RC cruise ? In Doha, i’m nearly convinced that there is a free shuttle to exit the port, isn’t it ? But in Bahrain, a 30-45min drive seems to be inevitable. So, is there a shuttle at the port : a Port-shuttle or a RC-shuttle ? And how much is it per person ? Thank you if you remember this from your own cruise.
