I am looking forward to checking that out. My wife and I are also not fans of the MDR. i think I enjoy the Solarium Bistro more than she does for dinner. We both enjoy Chops, Izumi (Hibachi and Sushi) and Jamie's Italian the most from our specialty dining experiences so far. I couldn't get her to try Wonderland last time even though we had the unlimited package. We didn't have the best meals at Giovanni's Table on Oasis or 150 Central Park on Harmony. Always enjoy Park Cafe, enjoyed Sabor. Looking forward to trying Hooked, the Mason Jar, Playmakers and El Loca Fresh on Wonder. Room service hits the spot too if tired after a long port day. We usually don't do the MDR unless it's for breakfast/lunch, and usually only do the buffet when we weren't satisfied with some other meal lol.

I sailed Oasis of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas twice for my last three Royal Cruises. I love at least a 3 night dining package on Oasis Class. We had Unlimited dining on Harmony last time and we paid only 179pp for 7 nights. Right now I am booked on Wonder for December 1st, 2024 and it is showing $326 pp for Unlimited and $131 pp for 3 nights dining. Is this the new normal? Should I expect a better sale? Is there any rhyme or reason to sales?

We got notified our port was changed from Antigua to St Kitts this evening and we sail Sunday. The just switched the ports on the website an hour or so ago and no excursions in the cruise planner, but you have to book a Royal excursion to get off the ship.

Hello, I usually have gone to one of the specialty restaurants in Central Park, but wondering if someone will be available at Izumi on deck 4 that can setup your reservations?

I haven't used that site but used Shoreexcursioneer.com twice with great experiences.

Maya Chan is awesome. Only drawback is the occasional sargassum, but it is a grade A all inclusive paradise otherwise.

Question is, for the 34.99 limit, would it be a combined total of the meal for two persons of 69.98, or will each need to stay under their individual 34.99 cap for each individual order? For example we each will want ramen $13 We both love gyoza $8 and would probably each want an order. That puts us each at 21 If we want to share a $17 sushi roll, that would put one of us over $34.99 unless it was a combined total. How does this work?

A few questions, I have seen a mention or two that Izumi Hibachi reservations fill up quickly but can only be reserved by going to Izumi. Is this correct? Should one go to Izumi to make reservations upon boarding? Can you make reservations for the other specialty restaurants at Izumi? Also for lunch is the full menu served other than Hibachi such as ramen? How often is Izumi open for lunch. Booked on 11/21/21 Harmony of the Seas.

Had first shot of Moderna yesterday, wife scheduled for 1st shot of Pfizer next Friday. Risk of COVID is far greater than any risk from Vaccinations, and if data holds up, the mRNA vaccines will save alot of lives. Ready to get back to normal, but to live to see normal and do my part to get there.

I've had Chops twice on Oasis and once on Harmony. Each time wife and I both had the ribeye. It was excellent each time, and we are all about seasoned food. We had the filet in Giovanni's on Oasis and much preferred the ribeyes from Chops.

My wife and I were on this sailing also. Glad you enjoyed you cruise and nice recap. Our experience was similar. We missed our reserved Columbus the Musical as my wife wanted to see iSkate instead. We are doing Harmony again next year to Cococay, St Thomas and St Kitts so will catch it next year. We also spent alot of time on our balcony. Weather was nice! Cruise was very enjoyable but elevators were pretty annoying. We also arrived around 10:15 and we were on the ship in 10-12 minutes. We had expedited arrival, but others from our shuttle didn't and were walking on the ship with us. Debarkation longest part was waiting on an elevator as we did self debarkation but were out probably even quicker. We were at our vehicle at Park Port Canaveral at 8am. Left our rooms around 7:30am. Loved the ship and ease of getting on and off. Only bad part was the muster drill but beats the heck out of the old drills on the outside decks in the sun lined up with life preserver around our necks. We did 3 night specialty dining. Did Chops, then Jamie's. We're going to do Chops again, but ended up changing to Jamie's again due to how much we loved the Garlicky Prawns, Ultimate Garlic Bread, Truffle Tagliatelle and Lamb Chops. We also loved Chops. We got a call for a complimentary meal at 150 Central Park courtesy of our TA and did that night 7. We didn't enjoy the food there. It was ok, but probably our least enjoyable meal of the cruise and service was super slow. We only did the MDR for breakfast and sea day lunch. Did Windjammer the three nights for dinner we didn't do specialty. Caribbean night was great, Italian night and Thanksgiving night were mediocre. I wanted to do Solarium Bistro for dinner but wife didn't like it on Oasis and wanted the Windjammer instead. I enjoyed it on Oasis. Thank you for sharing your experience.
