My wife and I snorkel quite a bit but we brought another couple along . . . the wife was fine but her husband struggled . . . when we mentioned his limitations to the Sea Cow crew they just smiled, they had him figured out from the beginning and kept an eye on him. You'll be fine if you are comfortable in the water!

I'll second the recommendation for the Sea Cow! We've done a bunch of snorkeling excursions and the Sea Cow staff were the best we've ever seen AND they picked us up right at the cruise pier!
