I’ve ordered the chocolate covered strawberries before and it was there by the end of the day on boarding day, but not right when the room was ready.
For our next cruise in September I purchased the anniversary package so I’m hoping it will be there when the room is ready, but I’m also kind of planning on it not being there until later in the day.

On our last sailing before the shut down in 2020 the captain sailed Anthem up past the statue then turned around before heading out to sea…I’ve seen on Facebook a few others saying they’ve had this experience as well, but sounds like it isn’t guaranteed.  This is from our sail away, I was in the solarium and it was rainy so not the best picture.

Like just about anything in life WE set the price that companies charge for packages like this.  
If people are willing to pay they'll keep charging that rate.  If collectively WE don't buy something at their price point they will eventually lower the price.  
As long as people are paying they will continue to accept people's money.
The deluxe drink package isn't required to have a great cruise.  If the math doesn't work for you, don't buy it.

Yep that’s the one!  First and only time so far going out of Bayonne, otherwise we’ve only gone out of Miami on our other cruises.  Really enjoyed going up and past the statue and seeing the city while turning around, going under the bridge was great too.  Going out of Bayonne again in September

Given the current dates offered end in October for many ships in these markets my best guess is that the newly released dates will go out one year to following October.  
However there is no telling what they'll do with the next release.

The wait staff in the main dinning rooms…have never had a bad experience.  Our last cruise our waiter was Elvis from India, he and my wife were talking about how much she likes Indian food and he said he would take care of her, brought out off menu Indian food for her to try, she loved it.  Just a little extra that really makes the cruise that much better, we really enjoyed all the staff on that cruise though.

@Geoff P It is very easy to get a Lyft or Uber to port. You might be looking at 45min to an hour depending on the resort/hotel at WDW you are staying at. So, if you have a 11am check-in, leave around 10am

Would suck to be cancelled, but I’d be 100% ok with that compensation, especially right now with missed ports and whatnot.

Just before covid (feb '19) we did WDW stayed at the Coronado, then had Coco Beach shuttle pick us up morning of the cruise (it takes about hour and half). They had another family in the van with us. Dropped us off at the RCI terminal.  I think we had a 10AM pick up.
 

Just an FYI, Disney no longer provides complementary transportation from the World to (or from) the airport.  That ended Dec 31.  I would suggest renting a car, driving to the port and dropping it off there.  You can do the same for your return to the airport or book a shuttle service.  Both Cortrans and Cruise Control Transportation get good reviews.

Have y’all seen the new junior suites at the front of Navigator? The balcony is insane! The cabin itself is rather small however.
