  1. That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it, I saw your post and was genuinely curious to see if it was in there as a notice, and it is, so I figured I’d share as others may like to know for next time as well
  2. Yea I forget where it is on the website, but there is a spot where they post things, not sure how far in advance but for example they’ve had it out there for a while now that the skyliner will be down for routine maintenance for a week in January 2023…I know they put resort pool closures there too
  3. I get that it sucks that you expected one thing and the cruise line delivered something different, and I’m not defending the cruise line…but you did agree to their contract which states below that it’s all subject to change without advance notice. Again, I get you’re disappointed but really should try to not let that ruin your trip 7. CANCELLATION, DEVIATION OR SUBSTITUTION BY CARRIER: a. Carrier may for any reason at any time and without prior notice, cancel, advance, postpone or deviate from any scheduled sailing, port of call, destination, lodging or any activity on or off the Vessel, or substitute another vessel or port of call, destination, lodging or activity. Except as provided in Section 7.e below, and except as provided in Section 4.e or Section 4.f regarding an actual or suspected COVID-19 infection, and except where a refund is required by law as a result of a declaration of a public health emergency or government order cancelling the Cruise or delaying boarding of the Vessel by Passengers by three (3) days or more, Carrier shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever by Passenger, including but not limited to loss, compensation or refund, by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement, substitution or deviation
  4. Lol just priced out a balcony cabin for 2 adults and 2 young kids…had to double check the website when I saw the price to make sure I was on RCL and not DCL, wow
  5. We just parked in the overflow lot in September because we had my truck rather than my wife’s car, they direct you where to go and there was a free shuttle there to bring you right to the terminal building if you didn’t want to walk
  6. The emed test is really easy…another cost I know, but it is easy at least
  7. Yea I think this is pretty subjective…I for one really enjoyed Anthem of the Seas, and would say my least favorite so far has been Enchantment…but even with saying that, we really enjoyed that trip and if it had the right itinerary we would book on it again.
  8. Just got off a 5 night and it’s like Ashley said, our first sea day was day 2 and that’s when it was, 10am
  9. We bought this a couple months ago for our Adventure sailing in a few weeks, paid about $57 all together for the 2 of us, so seems pretty in line with what everyone is saying
  10. My guess would be if they did anything to that class would be to bring the older ships up to where Odyssey is now, which probably wouldn’t take much, but with them being so new I can’t imagine they would do a huge amplification right now
  11. We’re doing the Hamilton sightseeing and shopping excursion when we go in September, figured it’s not a bad way to see some of the island and spend the morning walking around a little
  12. Yea I would agree with everyone else, a day trip to the cape in the summer would just be frustrating…never mind on a holiday weekend, traffic will be awful…it is a good possibility as to why they canceled it.
  13. This is purely just an observation by me, but when looking at the cruise mapper site when you click on the Crystal Endeavor it now says it is part of Silversea Cruises and has the Silversea logo there. Looks like they may have purchased a brand new expedition ship
  14. Lol, the buy one get one 50% off still doesn’t look good for ours in September
  15. How does adjusting the itinerary work with cruises like from the northeast to Bermuda, or the short 3 nighters to the Bahamas if a hurricane is coming through? Like we have a 5 nighter to Bermuda in September, I don’t really care if the itinerary is changed, just curious what it might change to? Canada maybe?
  16. I checked in the cruise compass section but didn’t see one, does anyone have a cruise compass from a recent 5 night Bermuda cruise on adventure?
  17. I have ordered just the strawberries in the past and only order 1 in my wife’s name and it was enough, 1 plate of I think 9 chocolate covered strawberries…I’m not positive but assuming that if you ordered for both of you then you would end up with 2 plates of strawberries and double the champagne
  18. I think everyone needs to really adjust expectations a little as we work to get back to “normal”. Not just in the cruise industry but everywhere. So many new people working in new jobs needing to be trained or gain experience, supply issues, delays etc…it’s going to take time to get better, until then need to adjust expectations and live with some of the minor stuff…and like Matt said, if something is really wrong it never hurts to politely say something or ask etc.
  19. This is an interesting thought…especially with Radiance and Voyager class hitting that end of life point at the same time, and obviously Vision class prior to that. Would Royals fleet be completely comprised of Oasis, Icon, Quantum and then Freedom class being the smallest? This does kind of limit the variety of itinerary a little though, would it be too limited for Royal?
  20. Not a fan, but it does kind of align with Oasis, so I guess it fits
  21. I’ve ordered the chocolate covered strawberries before and it was there by the end of the day on boarding day, but not right when the room was ready. For our next cruise in September I purchased the anniversary package so I’m hoping it will be there when the room is ready, but I’m also kind of planning on it not being there until later in the day.
  22. I’ve never had a bad experience on Jet Blue and personally would look to book with them over most others if I have the option.
  23. We were wondering about this as an excursion as well, either doing Oasis or Anthem out of NJ and with only a partial day at Port Canaveral wasn’t sure if we would have enough time. How much time do you really need to see the majority of Kennedy Space Center? I know some of the ships get to port at noon, would half day be enough?
  24. Just wish they had more than 1 ship out of NJ over the winter, just having Anthem from October/November through April kind of limits the options for sure.
