To be fair, very few travel agents will sift through prices to see if there has been a price change on your cruise. That job is going to be on you - every time. The agent will be made aware of periodic pricing offers that come from the cruise line and they MAY check to see if those offers affect your booking but they simply do not have time to go through each and every one of their bookings on a regular basis to check for price variability no matter how good or committed they are.

I'm concerned that now that Oasis has been involved in this very ugly and certainly very costly mess in dry dock that they may alter the plans for being amped. I have no reason to believe that...just a gut feeling. I have a feeling Lady O is going to be out of commission for a while....

Is there any casino status at all for this person ? Does it say "Prime" anywhere ? If this person has sailed and gambled on a Royal Caribbean ship in the past year, they should be a member of Club Royale. If all of this has occurred and there is no casino status notation of any kind, that person needs to call Club Royale and ask why they aren't already enrolled. They should be. Call 888-561-2234. I have been a Club Royale members since the program began and every so often they forget about me and I have to call and remind them so it does happen.

I have never had a noise problem with adjoining rooms. My problem with adjoining rooms is that there is that you must sometimes sacrifice the full couch for a smaller love seat b/c the door to the adjoining cabin takes up wall space normally consumed by the bigger, full couch. That is not ALWAYS the case but sometimes it is and I have even been in adjoining rooms where there was no couch at all....just a chair.

I am not familiar with Blue Kay but if it is on the beach at Mahahual, there will be someone giving massages on the beach somewhere close by.

No, if you have a passport you do not need a birth certificate. I have never taken a birth certificate for identification. If you do NOT have a passport then you will need a certified, raised stamp copy of your BC.

The thermal spa option is not free on any Oasis or Quantum class ships. I use them when I am in Star Class but they are definitely not anything I would pay extra for. Dan loves the sauna so he uses it a lot when we are on the smaller ships. I can't take the heat of a sauna or steam room so I lay about on the ceramic beds a while and call it a day !

If they gave you the opportunity to retry then I would jump on that ! What are you supposed to do ? How are you to contact them ?

Yes, it’s easy....but not necessarily cheap. I think we paid $90 each way the last time we did this. I’m sure there are cheaper alternatives; we took a taxi.

I know that they have had the O class ships in dry dock in the Bahamas before but it's true that these ships will not fit into the dry docks in the Bahamas. I recall that they actually have to lift one end of the ship in order to get to the areas that have to be repaired (which is apparently the point at which the crane failed, this time). It was definitely a make-shift maneuver that was borne out of the fact that the O class ships cannot be repaired just anywhere. I just hope everyone is ok.

The article I just read said that the dock is sinking. That can't be good....

I can vouch for this one. Happened a number of years ago, back before you actually redeemed the OBC directly from the website yourself. No email confirmation, no OBC.

BTW, why is Oasis in dry dock when the amp thing isn't until October ?

DEFINITELY get them before you board. Everything is always waaay more expensive on the ship and the choices are usually very limited.

We have always only received 1 crystal block for each milestone UNTIL this past cruise on Anthem where our Genie brought 2 of them. I think this was more a function of having a Genie handling this than it was of the Loyalty Ambassador giving us each a block. My understanding has always been that there is just 1 block awarded. I ended up trading my "extra" Anthem block for an Oasis block with someone on that "other" site.

So sorry for your loss...but welcome back to cruising !
