Room service is complimentary for Sky Class. You can order for the Room Service menu or the MDR menu. The limitation of MDR RS is that it is only available during normal dining room operating hours while items from the RS menu can be ordered any time. So it will depend on when you are trying to arrange your event as to which menu you can use.

I've never even heard of Taste of Royal. It must be something new. Not surprised that this event is not included for SC. Often these “experiences” are not (e.g, I do not believe that the Bottomless Brunch is complimentary for SC). As others have suggested, there will probably not be anything that they would offer you during this event that you could not get on your own without paying anything extra.
P.S. Joyce is also our Genie for our upcoming 12-1 Oasis sailing.

Not all bars have blenders so not all of them offer frozen drinks. Most (all ?) of the pool bars offer frozen drinks.

I feel sure that Portside will be covered by the UDP. The unwritten rule of “if the restaurant is open, it’s included” seems to be holding up. I’m sure it will be included for SC. I’ll let you know in 25 days !

You're welcome. If for some reason you do NOT see your room attendant on the first day/night, just lay your suit out on the bed the following morning with a note to please have it pressed for formal night. They do this all the time. They will know what you want.
-
Yes, there will be a Thanksgiving menu on Thanksgiving evening. My general experience is that they begin decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. It will take them a couple of days to finish with the decorating but generally, they will start the next day.
-
You will need to let your room attendant know, on day 1, that you wish to have his suit pressed. Most likely your attendant will tell you to leave the suit laying on the bed the next morning (day 2...formal night) and they will return it later that same day....but they are the one who will tell you how best to do it. The room attendant will take care of this.

We have Labadee as a stop on our upcoming Oasis cruise, too. The only "special" thing to do at Labadee is go to the Suites beach, as Matt said (Barefoot Beach) and either rent a cabana or just enjoy the beach from a lounger. There are no other "exclusive" areas of Labadee. Our Genie asked if we wanted a cabana (we told her no, but thanks) as I guess the Genies still have first dibs on the cabanas at Labadee even if they do not have preliminary access to Cabanas at Coco Cay.
Of course, your drinks packages work on Labadee but there are no $$ food options at Labadee so your dining package doesn't really do anything for you there.
We will be staying on the ship on Labadee...as we have the past several times.

The cruise line would never release the name of the person in the room you want so that is a no-go. I have read many times of people asking the cruise line to intercede on their behalf and never have I heard of it happening. The TA will have no ability to help you, either.
Unfortunately, there is little to do in this situation. I completely understand your desire to keep the same room for your B2B but I would not hold hope that you can make this happen. The only possible thing that I could think of to do would be that MAYBE if you join the roll call for this sailing and ask to see if MAYBE the person in your room happens to be on the roll call that MAYBE you could get in touch with them directly that way. Other than that, I can't think of a thing to suggest.

Wow. only 46 pax. I didn't realize it was that small.

Unfortunately, it is the same sad story that you hear about so many things with Royal....consistently inconsistent. While I have never tried to order more than one entree, (I'm lucky to finish what I order with just 1 entree !!) I have read of some who were denied multiple entrees with the Unlimited Dining Package, even though it very clearly says that you are allowed multiple entrees in the Overview. As with all things, it will depend on the ship and sometimes, even depends on the individual server.
If you have the UDP and decide that you really must have 2 entrees, order them and be prepared for pushback. That's about all you can do.

Where inside is this demonstrated?
It depends on the ship. On Grandeur, it is in the Centrum area on Deck 5 next to Guest Services. On some ships it can be in the Schooner Bar. Hint: look for older people or people in scooters/wheel chairs. Whever they are gathering, that will be the place where they will demonstrate the life vests inside.
Close to muster time they may try and shoo you out. Just tell them that your Seapass cards have already been scanned and stay put. As long as you get your Seapass card scanned, listen to the presentation and see the life vest demonstration you are compliant.
-
Avoiding standing outside (on the smaller ships) during muster drill. Once the drill is starting, go to the person who is scanning the sea pass cards, have your cards scanned and then go inside and have a seat ! One of the crew will be demonstrating the life vest and you have a comfortable place to sit and wait for the crowds to diminish after the drill ends OR be ready to dash to the elevators once the Captain has completed his remarks.

Hmmm....guess I’m going to have to learn to deal with the app. I have never even tried to use it b/c it had been so glitchy. Thanks for the push to come up to speed with it.
Are you able to comm with Sunil on the app or do you still have to call him ? I just find it objectionable to have to detail every single item I want to eat and drink to the Genie. It seems so backward.

We’ve done the sushi-making class twice and enjoyed it both times. If you enjoy eating sushi chances are you will enjoy making sushi. You get to eat everything you make !
