  1. Hello all, I have a cruise aboard the Oasis on November 8, 2020. At this point, my cruise has been paid in full over 6+ months ago. While that is paid off, I never booked my flights to Ft. Lauderdale or my hotel (as I like to arrive a day before sailing) My dilemma now is whether or not I should book a hotel room and start to look for flights? I'm a Delta flier 99% of the time. The other 1% is when I fly Southwest to FLL for cruising. I'd hate to book my flights only for my cruise to be cancelled and then deal with having to cancel a flight and figure out when to re-schedule with Southwest as I hardly fly anywhere unless it's for a cruise. I really hate the uncertainty of things right now and hate to tie up more future money not knowing what may happen. I guess I could always purchase some type of insurance, but that means spending even more money. I guess I am just reaching out to you all to see what you would do in my situation? Thanks all!
  2. I don't know what to do either as we cruise November 8, 2020. Cruise has been fully paid a long time ago. I still do not have flights booked as of yet and don't know if I should or just stand pat? I definitely do not like all this uncertainty. I'd like to think that we will be cruising by then, but that's just me trying t be optimistic.
  3. So far, the cheapest I have seen from D.C. to Ft. Lauderdale is about $325 per person round trip. This would be in first week in November. Does that seem high? I'm thinking so, but wanted to get other members replies. Thanks!
  4. I am in the same situation. My cruise is in November and really wondering? Is it going to happen?? Normally, I would have my flights planned by now as I like to do things early. Honestly? I see flights from D.C. to Ft. Lauderdale still way expensive! Wondering if and when prices will go down if at all??
  5. Hello all! The Mrs and I will be stopping in Cozumel and Falmouth in November when we cruise onboard the Oasis. I've been looking around for excursions and was wondering? What are THE MUST DO's in both ports. We are the adventurous type! We like jet skiing, snorkeling, some beach time would be nice as well!, etc.. Is there any company that you recommend? I've been browsing TripAdvisor just to get some ideas, but thought I'd ask here for those of you that have visited those 2 stops before. Thanks! Carlos
  6. We did an excursion with Mickey at Sunfari this past October. Can't say enough good things about him and how he runs his business. My wife and I had such an amazing time.If I am ever back in St. Thomas, I'll definitely book again with him. Funny thing is? I found out about them from Cruise vloggers Griff & Alyssa also! I posted my review about Sunfari with several photos on Trip Advisor. Sunfari also has a really good Facebook page.
  7. Hello all, After several cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, we are doing the Western Caribbean this time. One of the stops is Cozumel. I was wondering what are the must do excursions? Are there any good snorkeling tours or anything like jet skiing or great beaches to see? I usually book via 3rd party as RC's excursions tend to be pricier. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Carlos
  8. I sure hope so cause we purchased it and we sail on the Adventure of the Seas this Saturday on a 8 day cruise ?
  9. Hello all, about 72 more hours until my cruise aboard the Adventure of the Seas. Woo Hoo!!!! Anyway, my question is when it comes to booking a next cruise, I hear that there are better deals/incentives if you book your next cruise while on board. True? I was thinking about using a travel agent for my next cruise, but now I am not sure which is the better way to go? I always here that using a travel agent is the better way to go, but can they do better than reserving yourself while on a cruise? Thanks all!!!
  10. Thank you Matt! We haven't even started the cruise, but was already worried about disembarkation! Ha Ha BTW? Do we need to notify anyone that we will have our luggage with us the day we leave vs leaving it out the night before??
  11. Hello all, We are sailing on the Adventure of the Seas this Saturday Oct. 26. I have a question hoping that one of you might know? We purchased the Key program for this cruise and was wondering on the final day when we return to Ft. Lauderdale, our flight departs at noon. My question is? Would we have time to have breakfast in the Main Dining room before we leave? We plan to be up and ready to go by 6:00 am. We also plan on having our luggage with us so that after we eat, we can hopefully disembark quick. I think there is priority disembarkation with the Key? Do you think we'd have enough time or should we high tail it to the airport? I think the Ft. Lauderdale airport is somewhat close to the port, correct?? Thanks all! Any info would be helpful Carlos
