Not sure how it would work in person on board, but I know the online cruise planner system blocks out two hours with any dinner reservations made through it. Even complimentary stuff, if you book main dining room for 7:30, you can only book another dining venue at 5:30.

This is amazing.  I know I have a LOT of free time on my hands at work, but this is truly next level sleuthing.

I was curious myself and now I'll have to put my foot in my mouth because you CAN see current prices for cruise planner items without having to book that cruise or ask someone else.  The downside is that the cruise planner packages need to be available to purchase in order to see the pricing.
It just involves a little URL parameter adjusting.
Here's the base URL for the beverage package page (you can navigate to any page from there as you normally would):
https://www.royalcaribbean.com/account/cruise-planner/category/beverage?bookingId=0000000&shipCode={ShipCode}&sailDate={YYYYMMDD}
Simply replace the {ShipCode} portion of the URL with the ship code you're looking for.  You can find the ship code by doing a search with on the main "Find A Cruise" page and filter down to the ship you're looking for.  The ship code will then be shown in the URL for that filtered page.
Also replace the {YYYYMMDD} with the sail date of the cruise you want to look at.
So, if you wanted to see the price for the beverage packages for Wonder of the Seas Aug 27, 2022 sailing, the URL is:

You can see the price of deluxe beverage package is $77.99 per person per day, less gratuities.

As a bonus.  You can also see how much that over-the-water cabana at the beach club is running prior to you booking the cruise. The price is staggering for this date.

Note: I am NOT booked on these sailings but can see the prices no problem.

Disney is more expensive, but if you are a Disney fan (Marvel, Star Wars, ETC) I would say it does offer value for money in that case. I was lucky to do Disney twice , both Wonder and Magic. I would definitely not hesitate to sail them again if I can afford it.

Looking in the cruise planner and watching for sales is part of what makes cruising fun for me. I love pre-cruise planning. 

You're likely going to pack too much Don't feel as if you need to get the beverage package or dining package. Pack common OTC meds covering head to butt conditions. You never know what you'll need, and if you need it and don't have it, it may be tough to find. And these days you don't want to get ship medical involved unless absolutely necessary.

If doing regular dining and / or have the same table and waiters; I take a picture of the names of the waiters plaque. So I have the correct spelling of their names.

Don't overschedule.  There is so much to do that you can drive yourself crazy trying to do it all.

We turned Diamond during our British Isles trip 8/19-8/31 on the Jewel.  I just looked and it is posted and official.  Now I have to wait 409 days until my next cruise!

WOW, not a good decision by RCI. Maybe they will soon announce compensation for those sticking,  allow no penalty refunds, Lift and Shifts, or lift and shift to Allure's new itineraries?

Got a call from my TA today and she is looking to add on the grats for our already booked cruises at the current rate. I told her to go ahead although I really don't see the amount of increase as that much and as I have stated we consider the tips a minimum anyway.
