I had similar experience. When I called they told me it was locked and if I wanted it unlocked. I have no idea what that meant I mean who locks it? I certainly didn't.

It has been a couple of years so not recent however the place was filthy, we got there and told taxi driver to take us back to the shops. There was trash all over.

Agreed and there were numerous groups sailing together groups of 8-15 everywhere. Almost like they were on for free like a bonus from work.

We sail mostly with Royal. But have sailed 3 other lines about 6-7 times each. It is our humble opinion that Royal has the least favorable website. As far as the different % off the drink packages etc.. I believe the more it sells per ship the less the discount if at all. We had a Mariner 3 night few years back and the drink pkg was showing $75 pp. W e figured we would most certainly get it for less on board. We lived and learned it was $81 pp. OH well.

Go on Oasis too since the amp. It has 2 pub singers one in Globe and Atlas and the other plays in Portside BBQ. This never occurred to me until I was on the Allure and asked our favorite Pub singer Charlie Jourdan if he knew another pub singer we liked. He replied no and I was like really?? Charlie said that there is only 1 pub singer per ship so we never meet..

I will start- Oasis since the $165 million they poured into her drydock. We love the Oasis class and just about sail this class only anymore. We are pretty active and love all the nightlife. Two years ago New Years Eve. was a sea day and my fit bit recorded we walked 11 and 1/2 miles ---without leaving the ship.

Just got notice from TA that our itinerary has been changed for New Years harmony. Ports that are out Nassau, Labadee and Falmouth. Ports that are in Cozumel, Roatan and Costa Maya.

Geese I wish I could remember their names, One on the Freedom rode a bicycle on the promenade. The other I believe was on Oasis came into Dazzles and sang like 4 songs with the band he blew everyone away he was excellent! I have always said that amongst the crew there is a lot of talent. One server in the MDR sang a Bruno Mars song at dinner and was incredible as well.

Just want to reach out to Matt and Mods for this wonderful informative entertaining blog. It has been awesome and very active with most of us back sailing. That is all.

Royal put out as a last resort they will test at the port for $99. Anyone know how to schedule that?

Some loyalty ambassadors can help onboard as well. For instance my wife and I did a hybrid B2B on Oasis then jumped on Allure! We became Diamond+ on Oasis but Royal takes about 2 weeks to update your status. I went to the loyalty ambassador on Allure to ask if we could get our Diamond+ pins and she complied. She also informed us that we could go on the bridge and galley tours which we did not know. She was the best!

Is that run by FEDS? It is probably on them and not rcl.

Hit or miss we did Freedom on Dec.30th of leap year and it was gorgeous. Next year same ship same day it was freezing in fact out excursions were cancelled it was so windy and cold.
