  1. I would choose the small-group tour to the Cliffs of Moher (but I may be prejudiced as my ancestors came from the Burren area) spectacular scenery and a real feel of Ireland.
  2. They may pay extra for the privilege but other passengers also pay for the amenities and should not be inconvenienced without recompense
  3. EDIT: Ooops... I spoke too soon. It was in my other bag. Lack of sleep has messed up my focus.
  4. Voyager of the seas .....8 night Queensland cruise...12th to the 20th of December...............26 days to go Serenade of the seas ...........5 night Tasmania.............Dec 2020...........392 days to go
  5. Now available on December cruise planner..... lunch only... Taste of Royal AU 81.39 dollars +US19.99 wine pairing and 18 percent gratuity also to be added (each) for a four course lunch experience in the middle of a Queensland summer day..... I just may give this one a miss and stick to lighter fare....states it is not available on package deals....If I was a real foodie I may be tempted as Wonderland.150 and Giovanni's Italian kitchen are not available on Voyager....I will have to stick with Chops and the usual Giovanni's for dinner and bask in the sunshine during the day...It is also a good excuse to book another cruise where these restaurants are part of a package....at this exalted price for lunch in good old Aussie slang
  6. The radiance class aft suites with balconies have an unobstructed views and space and are relatively affordable
  7. Voyager of the Seas December 12th 2019........ Serenade of the seas also December 12th 2020
  8. there are qualified stoma nurses available at most major hospitals in Australia. If there is not one at your particular one get a referral to one from your Dr ,even if you cannot see them in person I am sure they can give you advice online or over the phone ....I hope you both have a wonderful holiday
  9. Marlene (42 rue de l’Alma) is the most famous and one of the largest stores for duty-free shopping in Noumea. You can purchase alcohol, bags, clothes, cosmetics, perfume, tobacco, and a few locally made souvenirs. There is also a smaller Marlene boutique closer to the cruise piers and the Noumea Duty-Free Shop one block away. When you compare prices and want to pay in dollars, consider the conversion rate they use. It may vary from one shop to another. If you pay by card, double check if the amount on the screen (and on your receipt) is shown in dollars or Pacific francs… just in case.
  10. Thought you might like this photo captured in Nova Scotia, Canada, by Chris Holmes

  13. It is the fifth attack in the area since last September ..These young men are very lucky to be alive despite their injuries as there was a paramedic and nurse on board at the time(both fellow tourists) they applied tourniquets and stopped the bleeding before they reached shore, there are also saltwater crocodile in the water at Airlie ....I for one would not snorkel there but as an Aussie who used to surf I guess I am more aware of danger spots.
  14. I notice the cruise planner has ceased taking bookings for snorkeling excursions in December ....perhaps the 2 young men attacked by sharks there last week were on similar tours..
  15. I have not seen any photos of the suite lounge so I hope you are right
