More Icon-Class - most definitely. I'd say at least 2 or 3 more. I think around 2030 they might have to do some smaller vessels but no smaller than the current Voyager Class i'd say. Something like a RCL take on the Edge-Class could be a possibility. As the Radiance Class & Voyager Class will be approaching 30 years old by then.

I think Wonder or Utopia are potential candidates.  It will be interesting to see if any signage on Utopia is bilingual.
As far as winters go, Royal had home ported Wonder in Hong Kong for the winter months before they cancelled those bookings.  Hong Kong winters appear to be kind of similar to Port Canaveral.  In Port Canaveral an occasional frost warning is not unheard of during a typical winter.  Residents cover temperature sensitive plants around their homes.  Hong Kong appears to be similar.  The coldest temperature ever recorded in Hong Kong is 0°C  versus -3.9°C for Port Canaveral.  
If Central Park can survive Florida winters I don't see why they couldn't survive a Hong Kong winter.

If everything going forward remains on schedule Utopia isn't scheduled to be delivered until sometime in the spring of 2024.  Royal would probably leave Utopia in Europe for the 2024 spring/summer season meaning the earliest Utopia might be relocated would be fall of 2024.  Again this is assuming the construction schedule doesn't take a hit.  So Royal has time and doesn't need to make any decisions about China for at least another 6-7 months.  If Royal needs more time to make a decision about Utopia they could send Utopia to the US for the fall/winter season 2024/2025 after spending the spring/summer season in Europe.  
Allure most likely will continue doing 3 and 4 night cruises during the fall/winter 2024/2025 season Utopia or any other Oasis Class ship could easily set sail out of Port Canaveral on Saturday.  Royals schedule out of Port Canaveral terminal 1 could look something like this; Allure on Fridays, Utopia on Saturdays, Wonder on Sundays, Allure on Mondays. 

China may be out today but fall 2024 or spring 2025 is a long way away.  

Quantum got there today, I think it’s the second time for both ships this season.

Voyager class is the biggest ship that can get into Melbourne. 
I believe Quantam has to much side wind cross section.
Its a narrow channel and if the wind is bad ,it could be a bit hazardous.
As for Melbourne as a home port ,it would have to be a hundred times better that Brisbane, especially for N.Z .
It might be just more Royal hype ,I just thought I would post it.

Interesting.. so maybe Melbourne as a home port in the future. Maybe even 2024-25 season?.. Would be perfect for a Radiance Class size vessel. 

About time the media let this go.. Funny thing was they interviewed some passengers and they all said they weren't worried and everything was handled great etc. 

Now that cruising has restarted don’t forget that Australian sailings booked last year are eligible for double crown and anchor points.

Keep an eye open for any lifeboats shots from the Meyer Turku shipyard.  The lifeboats that can do double duty as tenders look distinctly different.  I'm guessing no, but keeping an open mind.

By 2025 - 2026 they'll be another O class and in the process of cranking out more Icon class.  Maybe go for the brass ring and a future Icon build.  Why settle for Oasis class?

I will take a punt and predict that Royal will bring an Oasis class ship to Brisbane, Australia in 2025 once Perfect Day at Lelepa is open.
By 2025 there will be 6 Oasis class ships and possibly 2 Icon Class ships.  Royal will be looking at new markets to deploy these ships outside of North America and Europe.
It is overdue for Royal to give us Aussies a taste of the Oasis class ships.  IMO the only thing that has prevented this from happening is the lack of ports in this area that can handle a ship of that size.
7 night round trip from Brisbane to Lelepa and possibly Noumea (only port that could take an Oasis class ship in the South Pacific) with 5 sea days.   This would suit us cruisaholics with the Oasis class being a destination in itself.

One tip I would add - if budget and scheduling allows, also incorporate a New Zealand cruise into your travels.  Australia is a long way to come, so you may as well make it a cost-efficient exercise (one flight, two cruises). As @twangster can attest, NZ will offer some spectacular scenery.

7 night Western Caribbean on Icon, solo in an ocean balcony $8,400. Maybe I'll wait till 2026

It’s not much but Royal Caribbean is showing some engagement with Lelepa.
I believe some of their management will be their now or soon.
So hopefully we may get a announcement about the resort.

Yes sure is. Email received today Eden cancelled on my Nov 9 Quantum cruise. Swapped with an overnight in Sydney instead. Interesting thing is that on the 2nd day Quantum has to move out to the "ancourage" in Sydney Harbour as the Overseas Passenger Terminal has Majestic Princess that day. 

Woohoo finally able to check in for our October cruise. It's been a long two years waiting to be able to cruise again.
Also as a bonus New Zealand has dropped all Covid restrictions completely. (apart from aged and healthcare facilities).
I'm finally getting excited.
