  1. That's good to know, on my Radiance to Hawaii cruise they are offering it a $199 for 10 days...and the 5 day $119.
  2. I think they are quite vigilant because of lawsuits....if you get hurt and don't meet the requirements they would be libel.
  3. I am booked on Liberty this Oct in a GTY and today I got a Royal Up offer....but I still have not been assigned a cabin....I thought this was strange. I have never been notified about a cabin assignment, it just check my booking each week.
  4. Usually C&A can find your points if you can give they the sail date... they just wont search unless you have more precise info. Sometimes a photo with have a time stamp. If you have sailed 5 times and they were 7 day cruises you should have 35 cruise points and you would be Platinum. Casino plays don't add to you C&A points.
  5. Did you go and visit the Monkeys? They are quite funny...
  6. Yes , but they must have the same exact category and the same price as when you booked (or they will reprice your booking). Its quite hard to match the price anymore as they assign cabins very close to sailing date so ship tends to be quite full. It can happen, just rare.
  7. I vote for a Chocolate Martini....mmmm very addictive Enjoy your cruise! you'll love the Suite Lounge on Liberty, the espresso machine is nice too, it's available all day....
  8. We have done the drive but the inverse, Newark (very close to cruise port) to Baltimore cruise port and it took us just under 4 hours but we stopped for gas (was a rental and needed to return it full) it was a simple trip so you should be fine for 11am even with parking. I think we took 95 all the way. Enjoy your cruise!
  9. What is it that they offer, I have only seen those big ceramic heated tile beds at the rear of the spa...is there other features...
  10. I wish they were open for lunch, its just too much meat to have in the evening....they just keep coming and offering you more...more....more...who can say no?
  11. On Liberty we asked for a whole pizza, we told them that we wanted a supreme but with less cheese....they made it and it was awesome. This pizzas at Sorrentos are so much better than before....mmmm It was not a busy time and I promised to eat every bite.
  12. This is why I try to stay on the ships that still offer this service/benefit for free...although they are slowly removing the free saunas and steam rooms from some of the older ships too...
  13. We really enjoyed our Vision cruises out of NOLA earlier this year and it will be nice to have another choice other than Galveston. I'm not crazy about the Majesty....can't have everything I guess.
  14. No, Symphony sauna and steam rooms are coed and for a fee...$30 per visit I think, they also offer a whole cruise package but space is limited. They do offer more than just a sauna and steam room like the older ships have. Heres a link to more info. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/07/20/spotted-royal-caribbean-thermal-spa-pass-online
  15. Looks like this will add $18-$24 New Visa waiver and $70 New conservation fee....$94 (per couple) Good to know...
  16. Wow that is a great deal! Never seen it so cheap....
  17. The sauna and steam rooms on the Radiance of the Seas are complementary and they are inside the changerooms. They do have those heated beds at the rear of the Spa, not sure of the cost but if you have a massage or treatment you are able to relax on them for free also. The Radiance also has an indoor pool and a jacuzzi by the spa which is also complementary. The first day of the cruise they offer tours into the spa so you could visit the area and see what they offer and the prices.
  18. The Jewel is an awesome ship, have a great time! Enjoy your cruise!
  19. Are you doing the Vancouver to Hawaii cruise? We will be on that one...sounds like a cool spicy drink...?
  20. We were booked on 3 B2B cruises this Nov/Dec on the Explorer a 9 night a 5 night and another 9 night....they chartered the middle 5 night cruise....so we do the first 9 night get off the ship go to a hotel 1 night get on the Navigator for 4 nights and then switch over to the Explorer for the last 9 night cruise....our compensation was $100 OBC. We booked the same room for all 3 cruises....talk about bad luck... I don't think they should be able to charter a ship out and just cancel your booking.... In our case this has only happened once before when they sold the Legend of the Seas.
  21. That's what we do. Enjoy your cruise!
  22. Cruise ships have been getting a lot of bad press lately, I think these new more efficient ships are the industries way to show they are doing something about the issues. I also think that some people need all the bells and whistles to cruise so this attracts more customers, especially the ones on the fence about trying there first cruise. Kinda 2 birds with one stone effect.
  23. Does anyone know if it will get the Navigator Amp or the Mariner Amp? I am hoping they wont remove the Sauna & Steam rooms in the change rooms....
